Clean tidy station. Not too big but well maintained Staff are helpful and more than welcome to help or provide answers for any query’s. Cafe on platform, clean toilets, big parking n a stall for charity books to read. All these things made this station outstanding.

We were helped by the amazing Colin with navigating the platforms, barriers and most importantly finding the the loo (all in good order). Very quaint and relaxed with lovely architecture. Very well maintained. Would not have been the same without the service of the staff so thank you keep doing what you do!

What a lovely station. Obvious care taken with passenger meeting and greeting, helpful staff, super cafe service and station autumn display. The toilets were clean and the station was tidy. Well done!

Elegant Victorian station building and very traditional cast iron canopies over the platforms but that great start met the 1970s at some point. The canopies were deglazed with corrugated plastic and thirty some years later are gently falling apart.
The station building is mostly empty with a basic ticket hall and vaguely helpful staff.
The pumpkin cafe is one to be avoided unless you like bad drinks, service without a smile and a pause in one of Dante’s forgotten levels of hell.

On the plus side plenty of trains to London or north.
There is an “arm and a leg” carpark, toilets and chairs.
Mostly people just pass through but if you do pause to look there are some interesting parts. See if you can spot the late 60s basement night club.

Kettering much like any town in the UK, has good points and bad points. Kettering town is within the huge Kettering Borough. There are a few independent shops still, not many stores left from the large chain stores, there are markets on some days, Peregrine falcons nesting each year (streamed on live cam) on the very tall steeple of St Peter's and St Paul's church and town is close to the amazing Wicksteed Park...

Travelled to London yesterday from Kettering. The staff at Kettering were so welcoming and helpful especially the lady at the ticket check in. Very friendly old school station. Good little coffee shop. Excellent train service and on time. Will use again.
