David and Lisa took time (& a great deal of patience) to help me import a small order of eight boxes from China. I chose J.S. Forwarding initially because they were located in Felixstowe where my vehicle was due to arrive, but also because their quote was competitive. But the real benefit proved to be the professional and knowledgeable way in which they dealt with things for me. The shipping agent I had used wanted to send my vehicle to a different port and were just digging their heels in when told that the agreement was to Felixstowe. They would probably have walked all over me but fortunately I had Julie Langford at J.S. Forwarding fighting my corner and they eventually backed down and agreed to redirect it to Felixstowe. Julie’s knowledge of the whole shipping / importation system shone through and I can’t thank her enough. Highly recommended and at whatever point another opportunity arises I shall only be using them again.

Would highly recommend using these guys for all your importing and transport needs. Long story short I ended up being duped by my exporter in China and was hit with a lot of unnecessary fees and multiple problems at customs. David at JS Forwarding worked as hard as he could to try and resolve my issues for me going above and beyond what he could have done as it would have been quite easy for him to say he could not help me. They also delivered my goods very quickly and efficiently and even the driver who delivered the goods was very helpful too. Will definitely be using them for all future imports!

In my capacity as Import Manager for a textile merchant, I have used J S
Forwarding as a clearing agent for over 30 years. I have always found them competent, professional and efficient.
They are much more than a clearing agent though. They give sound advice and assistance in many other aspects involved in importing.
Nothing is too much trouble for them. Their enthusiasm and efficiency made my job a lot easier than it could otherwise have been.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. Responded very quickly to my initial request for information and then communicated clearly and in a timely fashion throughout the entire process. We've never imported anything before and, in the grand scheme of things, our delivery of a relatively small quantity of wood flooring from China was a tiny transaction.
