If I could give this company less than 1 star, I will. This review is about the team at Alder House, 5 Cedar Court, Hazell Drive, Newport, NP10 8FY. They are the most deceitful, unhelpful, unprofessional business I’ve ever dealt with. In the beginning when they want your money, they act like they care. Most of the information they provide you is a lie. They will suggest things that are incorrect and take no responsibility for their misinformation. They will promise a callback and not make a callback. You will constantly call and chase them. I asked for door to door for a barrel. Had stuff left, they advised to put in a box and that would also be picked up and treated as door to door. They invoiced the first time for box and barrel but it wasn’t down as door to door. I questioned this, they sent additional invoices, paid in full and in my email confirmation of payment I advised payment has been made for the door to door for both barrel and box, then asked about expected delivery. They responded with a thank you and provided expected shipment arrival date. Fast forward shipment arriving at port (2 days late arriving and 1 week late leaving from when I was advised), they advised I should liaise with their partners overseas. I then had to make calls from my mobile to Jamaica to arrange things (lost count of the number of calls and additional charge on my phone for this matter. Most likely double or more of my phone bill so far), they then advised that they do not offer door to door for boxes, I should not have been advised of this and my only payment was for shipping of the box and nothing else. If I want my box I should go to port or pay almost £200 extra for the box alone. Spoke to JP Logistics, they advised everything was paid for and door to door. Almost a week later, they change their tune, I had only paid for shipping. They are not responsible. If I want my box I need to speak to Jamaica as they are not at fault. The person that dealt with my enquiry has either left or works in different location but no accountability so far from them. They will advise they spoke to Jamaica, when I call the same person they advised they spoke to, this person hasn’t spoken to anyone in the UK that day. They constantly lie and constant lack of contact from them when they had advised that if I got my stuff sent early November, it will be there well in time for Christmas. Well that’s a lie. As I write this, I don’t have a resolution to when the barrel and box will be sorted or delivered. If you want your sanity and not take on additional stress, don’t deal with this company. I will NEVER deal with them again or recommend anyone use them. Apparently they have no complaints process, they record no calls so can’t request call recordings, they don’t know if they are regulated, they have no customer service team only a small office with sales people. So not surprise by the ish show that I’ve been dealing with as there is no proper structure or leadership in the company. Trust the Google reviews, they are as bad if not worse than what people have written on here. My biggest mistake was not checking this out first when my colleague provided their information to me. Never again. I will try not to name all of the useless people I have dealt with during this period and just say, don’t trust any of them. Emails means nothing to them coz even if it’s black and white, they don’t take any accountability including their senior management. You will pay less with other companies and get a way better service than they offer as well as less headache. Avoid this business at all cost. I now need to figure out how I can make Christmas better as it’s looking unlikely anything will be done before then. Ruining people’s Christmas just because of greed. I’ll sit and wait for the wonderful PR responses where they blame the customer or pretend they care. If the response isn’t that they have rectified this issue, don’t believe it.

Posted a disassembled empty box at my door and rang the doorbell at 00:30, was delivered to the wrong address. Ringing the doorbell at that time for a piece of cardboard was completely absurd.

Used this company twice and never again. Delivering driver come to my house tonight at 9.15pm with an attitude, complaining about not being able to get the crate on and it’s heavy. The crate is not heavy at all, I explained how to lift the crate and he didn’t want to hear and said to take everything out and pack it on the van. Joker! The other times using this company they change the price when we got to the office with the last crate. Now I know WI shipping send crates at the same price, I’ll never use JP ram again. Plus they don’t have brokers on the island. Terrible service. DO NOT USE!

Would be helpful if on booking the company advised of their delivery times which are between midnight and 6.00 am. When contacting the company by telephone I found the level of Customer Service to be poor. Disinterested, unhelpful, appeared irritated when asking questions. Delivery Driver was friendly upon delivery of barrel, however, scheduled collection failed.

Very bad experience. Ordered an empty barrel and on the day of collection the truck driver collected £115 for shipping and £48 for the barrel when time to collect the barrel they saying money outstanding why the barrel is held up. I was so surprised the truck driver only took the money but never gave a receipt so its safe to say that money disappeared with out a trace!!! so now i have to pay x2 which is so unfair and very dishonest. Very unpleaslant experience and ive been calling serveral times and all they say is a manager will be in touch with me

I’ve been shipping with JP Rama lot. The last time I shipped something with them it has been damaged when it reached the destination.The agent at the destination told me that the item has been received damaged. I contacted JP RAM about it , they requested photos of the damaged item. I have sent over the photos to them, they said they’re going to investigate it. I haven’t heard from them for a while. Anytime I call them they telling me the same stories that the phone is busy and they haven’t get the chance to look into it yet. The problem occurred over a month and I’m still hearing the same excuses that the phone is busy.
