As a company we signed up with J&J Fulfilment with the hopes that they would streamline our process of dispatching customer orders which would allow us as a small company to free up time to focus on producing new products and managing other aspects of our business.

Instead, we received months of miscommunication, the revelation that important EU paperwork was never completed resulting in our customers being charged twice for custom fees and having to assign one of our team to almost exclusively work to resolve issues caused by J&J and having to follow up with them constantly.

The whole situation has been incredibly frustrating for us, leading to a significant impact on not only our financial stability - due to J&J ignoring our preferred courier as stated in the contract (they insisted that FedEx and DPD were cheaper than Royal Mail) but also the mental and emotional well-being of the team due to the stress of their mistakes and the impact on our relationship with our customers.

As a small business (we have less than 10 employees) we would not recommend J&J at all - especially if you would only like to ship via Royal Mail and have a large customer base outside of the UK.

During our time there, from November 2024 until March 2025 we dealt with seven representatives of the company in an attempt to resolve our issues and it was only Hollie and Claudine who appeared compassionate and empathetic towards our situation. That being said, it took over a month of us to receive our final invoice as we had to request it multiple times in order to successfully end our business relationship with them.

I found that the company ADAMANS distributes from here, so feel it fair to let James and James know they're distributing fake items.

I was very impressed with the look of the ADAMANS website and the wide range of pieces available, the super fast delivery and the quality packaging was equally impressive.

What really disappointed me was the lack of accuracy in the item description on the website. Had the items had been REAL white gold, I'd have kept them. Instead, I was sold something that was white gold inspired.

It was evident that this was costume jewellery, and should have been advertised as much. The seams were visible on the clasp and it looked plastic. There were no hallmarks whatsoever and no certification was included as the website states. The misleading advertising needs to be called out.

Ironically, I purchased a similar chain for my dog from eBay. It looks and feels exactly the same, but cost far less.

The refund process was good, despite what other custers have shared of their experience. I got a response pretty quickly to my email and refund label was sent over for me to post back.

My advice, keep the packaging, as you may want to return your order upon closer inspection as the items do not appear to be as advertised. BEWARE!!

We have had a great experience working with James & James for a few years now. Most importantly, our customers love the fast shipping time and accuracy of orders. We almost never receive complaints. Our corporate team loves the visibility into every aspect of our orders, inventory and finances with this facility, and have had great experience when working with Customer Service, which is not needed often. Great team and great facility.

*THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF LIFE AS AN ONLINE BUYER*
I DIDN'T GET A NEW GEDGET DISCOVERY ONLY DISCOVERED NEW TRAPS I CAN FALL IN BUYING INTERNET, THEY HAVEN'T PAID MY RETURN OF AT LEAST HALF OF VALUVE WHEN I RETURNED THEIR ITEMS SEALED BOXES WITH SPECIAL DELIVERY.

tried to justify it with lots of controversial statements.
the trial box came extremely late after the order>unimpressed item>cancelled subscription.
FEW DAYS ANOTHER BOX. JUST OPENED IT TO TAKE PHOTOS OF IT AND RETURNED THE NEXT DAY. AFTER I ASKED THE RETURN PAID ME 30 FOR 81.99 TAKEN FROM THE SAME ORDER.
first, they said I had returned the first box which is why they paid the trial box amount. I HAD A PHOTO OF THE BOX I RETURNED WITH TRACKING ID.
I TRACKED IT FOUND IT WAS 2ND BOX THEY ARE NOT HONEST. AND FOUND 2ND BOX POSTED AFTER I CANCELLED THE SUBSCRIPTION.
then they said at that time they did not have items for the trial box so sent me a subscription box first, they have not taken permission for that but anyway, they have taken money for that from my card. but I said, I only requested a trial box at first. if they pay for the return, I’ll send both boxes as I already paid 9.95 for the return.
they did not even consider that they did not admit that sending the wrong items was not their fault.
(I knew I had received a trial box after seeing many reviews on YouTube as it had a wireless charger and a small speaker as most of them get)
IN THE END, the only thing I have is a DISAPPOINTMENT.

They are quite fast with replies in a few hours or within the day. The team is friendly, professional and courteous. Nathalie has been a real credit to the company and it says a lot about the culture they are fostering.

Refunds and accounting matters
They are surprising fast to revert and settle refunds or credits, which is very nice.

Solutions oriented approach
In business it’s unrealistic to expect to have an issue free relationship with any business partner. It’s how they handle it that distinguishes a great company from all the rest. Instead of thwarting calls or avoiding the client, we have found they come right out with a solution or resolution. This is invaluable in a provider and business partner.

They’re a great choice, even if you’re a small or medium company if you expect to grow then this gives you the peace of mind that a surge in orders would easily be met. The team and infrastructure is comparable to the global logistics giants who charge thousands of pounds to set up an account, with J&J its a negligible sum and very affordable even for an SME.

We Have had a wonderful experience dealing with James and James. Amazing customer service and a very helpful team. I would like to say a very special thanks to Shannon who worked very closely in helping set everything up and being there for us every step of the way, no time was too much when it came to helping resolve a issue or have an understanding of something I was unsure of. Don't ever trust this company. I stared year ago; they ruined my business. They took weeks to do deliver products & weeks to reply to emails. They only apologies. They ruined my business. I have bad Google reviews on my website. They don’t care. I had a loss on my business because of James & James. But if you late to pay their bills they take you to court. Please be aware.

UPDATE (02/21): One year later, the five star service we received from the sales people has turned into one star service from the customer service department. Our orders are late to ship, our inventory is not properly stocked, James and James does not answer our emails. I understand Brexit has been hard, but taking 14 days+ to answer our emails is unacceptable.
ORIGINAL (03/20): Shannon and the James + James team were great to work with and made our custom set up easy. Since starting, all of our orders have shipped out promptly! Would highly recommend.
