I did a job delivering newspapers in the morning from Glasgow one day. Because a pallet was a bit to high when loading we just removed few layouts and I organized and secured everything for the transport . Upon arrival the guy operating folklift came to unload the palet instantly as soon as I managed to open the door. I removed the straps and the pallet was removed. We still had loose newspapers. The gentleman came to the side door and as I tried to reach for the first pack he said don't worry I will do it. At the time I was struggling with my lower back pain a lot.
I wasn't taking strong pain killers as I would not be ok to drive....He saw it and didn't hesitate to step in and I even mentioned that its ok, part of my job... he said ah don't worry leve it to me! He took care of everything at no time!
Just wanted to say thank you very much! Not only I was unloaded in no time but I also got extra help without even asking. I forgot to ask the gentleman for his name but he was very professional, simply awesome. I will not hesitate to do them jobs more often.

Got a card through the door with date, time, amount of parcels and a tick next to “named customer required for POD” - NO consignment number so couldn’t get a re delivery online - phoned the number on the card, the gent couldn’t find any parcels for my address so I said if the driver wasn’t so lazy and put a last name & a consignment number it would help! He then got very defensive about “his drivers” and hang up the phone - PROFESSIONAL! May you also know that one of “your drivers” gave me attitude as he blocked MY driveway recently although knowing fine I’m trying to park whilst he was in the van.

You can't even walk in.The rain today was unbelievable and the rude guy on the intercom said no.I have waited 10 minutes to pick up the parcel, rang multiple times thru the intercom ,guess what - nobody answered this time.So at the end I didn't collect my parcel and I have waisted my time. Pathetic people working there!

The worse couriers company I've ever worked with. If there would be possible to leave -⭐️ I would. 4 days in a row me and my partner trying to get in touch over a phone call by ringing 3 times a day and no respond what so ever. All we hearing is "currently not available". Anyway no parcel no assistance from the company "Menzies distribution". What a disappointment.

Reading these reviews are exactly the service I am experiencing at this moment. Not possible to track a parcel, no one answers phone, drivers fail to complete delivery notice and the some amount that is written is barely readable.
Never again.

I recently was dealing with the delivery company Menzies ( APC overnight ) and if I could l give them zero stars I would. I eventually received the parcel but what a hassle. 1st attempt of delivery I have received a "sorry we missed you" card but there was wrong information on the card and no consignment number so I could not schedule the re-delivery online. Then I tried calling the local depot and nobody was picking up the call or returning my calls even though I left number of messages. Then in desperation as I knew the item would be sent back to seller I have found some email addresses for the company and written to them not knowing if anybody would respond. Fortunately, I had 2 replies. Apparently, they stated in emails there were already another 2 attempts of delivery which I had no idea about as they did not leave the "sorry we missed you" card! They scheduled another delivery for me and I received the item but what a hassle!!!

completely shambolic operation as far as I can tell. If you follow the instructions on the card the courier leaves you have 2 options....phone or apply for re delivery/pick up by website. They don't answer the phone and they ignore the website request for pick up . Then when you go there you get a conversation with the receptionist via the doorbell intercom....and told you should have phoned first and not used the internet. The parcel is not waiting for pick up it's on the van. So I missed the delivery again........

Absolutely shocking! I came across a card that had slipped under my door mat 2 days ago, dated from 8/6, it had no details on it accept my name and a mobile phone number which was 2 digits short.
On phoning the distribution centre, which took for or 6 attempts to get an answer, I was advised that a delivery driver called Theo would be contacted regarding it and I would be contacted by telephone
I manage a pub and finished around 3am this morning, have just been woken up out of my bed by Theo hammering on my door with an awful attitude! He attempted to walk away several times halfway through the conversation and basically argued with me on my door step for 10 minutes!
Now no one is answering the phone at the distribution centre, I have been trying for 20 mins now! The phone is cutting off before the answer machine do it would appear that someone is just hanging up the phone rather than answer it!

Go up
