It's more than 15 years since I lasted visited the House of Marbles and I am pleased that there is a great deal more to see. For everyone there are lots of amazing marbles to see and buy and a museum of marbles; for adults there is a glass-blowing workshop with some amazing glassware for sale and a museum that documents the pottery-making history of the area. To top it all off, there is an excellent café restaurant with a really good choice of food and friendly, considerate service. We visited with our grand-daughter and very much enjoyed our visit.

Free entry and is a Fantastic place to visit, beautiful glass pieces and you can view them being made, as well as the amazing marbles and history of marbles.

Love this place. They have a lovely shop upstairs and downstairs with a wide variety of gifts, toys, games & bookstore all ages and a wide range of collectable marbles and glass nuggets..
Glass ware made on the premises in the glass workshop. You can see it being made.
Jewellery making workshops
Experiment and learn to craft precious metals, you will focus on getting to know the tools of the trade . You can design and make your own personal piece of jewellery to take home to show your family and friends. Pete Reeves fine jewellery
They have a lovely cafe with lovely meals.
Cakes to die for Amazing. Hot and cold beverages. Indoor and outdoor seating..
Outdoor a play area for children 3 - 13 years.
See a museum of the history of marbles. Displaying old marbles.
Pottery. Upstairs clothing.
Highly recommend this place for all ages..

I am a regular for breakfast and usually it’s quite superb but the last 2 visits left me disappointed.The breakfast seemed to have been ‘reheated’. I will return but not for some time-with regret RW
