Dangerous driving 04.07.24 at 10.47 am. Hart's Haulage lorry and trailer overtaking on the A39 approaching Abbotsham rounderbout at speed in the wrong lane [turn right only]. He possibly doesn't see me, already on the rounderbout. I have to brake hard as he narrowly misses the front of my car and continues without slowing or able to stop. He then acknowledge's my presence to raise his hand, or was that to cover his face. Then he clips the rounderbout and continues on the A39 in Bude direction. All captured on dashcam. Later I spoke to Hart's transport manager Emma Hart and explained my concerns. She appeared to be unconcerned unless I could provide a registration number, which I now have. Despite I would have almost certainly been killed by her driver if I was 1 or 2 seconds earlier or I hadn't of braked hard.
My advice from this incident and other reviews below is NOT TO USE HART'S HAULAGE.🤬

If this was the first occasion that I have witnessed aggressive driving from someone from this company, I would probably not commented but, again, earlier this week on 12th September at about 1.45pm I witnessed another example of very bad driving behaviour. A white 6-wheeler Scania Reg. Y2 HRT was driving at high speed UP Morlaix Ave, Truro, He 'tailgated' several vehicles, including me, remaining in the in the outside lane until the Arch Hill roundabout where, instead of continuing straight on, he abruptly made a 360degree right turn around the roundabout and cut across the cars that hea had just passed and shot off down the A390 towards Falmouth. He must have gained about 10 car lengths by virtue of this manoeuvre. He continued his journey, sounding his horn very loudly several times, presumably because he recognised other passing lorries and workmen.He eventually turned into Carnsew Quarry at Mabe. As I say,IF this was an isolated instance of bad driving, i would probably have not commented, but from my own experience and judging from the commnts of others, it clearly is not.

Great well done to the ignorant Harts Haulage Lorry driver in Treviscoe this afternoon at about 1430hrs 05/04/22…bullying his way through the village…. Had he of slowed down used abit of common sense and decency he would of realised that I was trying to pull into the gap between the parked cars to let him through.., but no he had to keep coming at me blocking off my route into the gap to let him pass so then I had reverse back down the road to a far smaller space to let him pass…. Harts Driver you do not own the bloody road just because your driving a HGV and then you start gobbing off!!!….You Bonney lad and your like…are the problem in our villages…. Common sense… manners…common decency and driver etiquette COST NOTHING!!!

Have been on the receiving end of 2 HGV drivers who seem to think it's OK to bully their way past me cycling uphill at road narrowings, overtaking me dangerously close both times. Email and video sent to the company, presuming they would take a dim view of such potentially lethal driving by their drivers, and they can't even be bothered to acknowledge my email let alone look into it. Think twice about this company, road safety is not something they care about it seems.

Used Hart's to shift almost 100 tons from my garden using their grab lorry. They were always on time, very reasonable on cost, did a great job and have excellent customer service. A real first class service which I will definitely use again and will recommend to others. Thank you!

As a small business I have started to use the services of harts and can not fault them for there help really helpful friendly service and the reception point you in the right direction with any information needed.
