On 24 November 2021 a Harlex Haulage truck travelling at high speed overtook the car driven by myself and a work colleague as we slowed down to observe a temporary speed limit on the M2 approaching the Gravesend East junction and deposited part of its load through my rear window as it passed. The driver did not stop or slow down. Miraculously no one was injured and I managed to steer the car to safety.

The incident was reported to Kent Police whose ANPR confirmed a Harlex truck was in the location at the time and Harlex were also made aware of it with a view to a claim for damage to my vehicle which was not covered by my 3rd party insurance.

Harlex initially processed the matter via their insurers but then subsequently denied all knowledge of the incident as there was no CCTV on the stretch of road where it took place.
ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL I would recommend anyone to think carefully before trusting this company.
