We stayed one night and had a top floor sea view. The view was excellent. The room however was very basic, no mirror in room, the bathroom was in the surface really nice but the towels were stained and when mentioned to staff was told they were waiting on new ones coming in. There was no fridge in the room either which was disappointing. The breakfast was less than average, and service was okay. Overall wouldnโ€™t stay again at a cost of over ยฃ200 per night was not worth the money

The room was quite big and clean, but the shared bathroom was not very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice. We had everything we needed and a friendly atmosphere. The view over the harbour was superb. On arrival was no reception service, and we were quite confused about the key locker and finding our room. Overall, it was too expensive for what we got, but okay, for our one night stay.

This guest house is on Tobermory's main Street and well placed. It is affiliated with the Tobermory Hotel & the West Highland Hotel. At ยฃ280.81 for a family room for 2 adults & 1 child, it is not cheap! The room was very clean with good facilities. Breakfast could be taken at the Tobermory or the West Highland Hotel. We pre booked dinner & it was superb! Great service & a wonderful experience with the seafood dishes, if a little messy ๐Ÿ™‚ However, breakfast was a disaster! Chaos is how I would describe it. It was recommended to prebook a breakfast spot, which we did..for 9am. We arrived at the appropriate time only to find the restaurant full. We agreed to be seated in the bar area but no information was provided to us about the 'system'. We finally helped ourselves to the cold buffet breakfast, which was very low in content. The butter dish was almost empty, there were no side plates & despite asking the sole member of staff twice for side plates, none were forthcoming. I toasted our bread, where the toast was either warm bread or burnt! There was only brown bread in the basket. I once again approached the young waiter to ask for cutlery & serviettes, which he duly brought, apologising profusely for his lack of attention. Still no side plates so I buttered my toast on the table top! Eventually the young waiter came back to ask us for our order. By then we had figured there was a board displaying breakfast choices. We placed our order..3 Scottish breakfasts & 1 poached egg with sourdough. After around 20 mins the poached eggs arrived quickly followed by 1 full breakfast. I then had to call over the young waitress to ask for my breakfast! She said there were no more on our order but she went into the kitchen to order me one. Shortly after, my breakfast arrived..with haggis & bacon well overcooked. The scrambled egg tomatoes & mushrooms were superb..but having waited for quite a while for our meals, we had all got past the need to eat and unfortunately ended up leaving most of it. Disappointing! I expected much better from such an upmarket establishment.
Staff were friendly & efficient. Check in was accurate & straight forward. It was just such disappointing note ti end our stay on.

The bed was clean and the shower was hot. The location was good. The breakfast was adequate, nothing special.

We stayed in Room 8. The wifi was poor - even if it connected, it was useless. The room had been cleaned but the floor had stains and the bedside lamp had not been dusted in a long time. In the bathroom, the extractor fan was full of dust and there was a large stain on half of the ceiling.

The welcome pack stated the rooms would be refreshed every day and to leave the towels in the en-suite shower tray if you wanted fresh ones. We came back at 7pm to find the room and (wet) towels untouched. This was despite leaving the door hanger saying we wanted a room refresh. The reception was closed and due to lack of signal, our calls to the numbers provided on the desk didnโ€™t connect. We ended up finding the laundry room with a wide open door and taking two new fresh towels to use.

No clear check out procedures. We had to find someone in the dining room who told us to leave the keys on the desk.

Weโ€™ve stayed at multiple different hotels during our trip around western Scotland. This was the worst and one of the most expensive.

This is a fantastic place to stay! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to have a sea-view room, and the view was just beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the fact that you could order exactly what you wanted so there was no waste.|The guest house is in the perfect location for exploring Tobermory, with access to boat trips, land based trips, shops, restaurants and scenic walks. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 3 nights during a recent tour of Isle of Mull. Very nice place to stay in the area. The guest house is in a great location, right on the harbor. It has a local, homey feel. The rooms are not fancy, but comfortable. The staff is very nice. They offer a really nice breakfast for guests. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

The hotel location is great, which is at the heart of Tobermory. But the room is not as big as the picture shown. There was no towel rail, no hair dryer in the room, considering the weather there, and this said a 4-star hotel! The breakfast was not complete, which they said yogurt was offered last night and there was none the next morning and they just said yogurt ran out. The drain in the bathroom was clogged a bit. We lived in a pod the day before and the bathroom was even better! Considering the price we paid (more than 200 pounds per night and half fee had to be paid when booked and non-refund) itโ€™s not worthy of it at all.

It was in room 12, which was recently converted from living accommodation. It had loads of storage, and the furniture was nice. The view was of the back of the property, but we were only there to sleep, so it was fine. The breakfast was good too and served by a family member who owned it.||Only one comment worth knowing - the front door is shut at about 10pm - so make sure you have your key with you ๐Ÿ™‚
