Only went to collect my order, from Halfords gallows corner, Romford store, thinking it wouldn’t take long time to collect an order, went upstairs to bike section, it wasn’t busy, there was only 1 staff member called Rick.He was with a customer who was only checking the bikes, although he saw me waiting to be served he didn’t acknowledge me at all until his colleague from downstairs seen me waiting and told Rick to serve me, then as he was walking to his desk, I said hi to start the conversation but his reply was; I’m serving someone else now, so I continued to wait for him to serve me, after about 4-5 minutes of pointless waiting he asked me what I’m collecting, I said I could give him my order number instead, which I did, after then he went and got my order for me.
In my opinion the areas he failed were,
1- acknowledge the customer
2- greeting
3- being multitask and attentive
4- having good communication with people
5- being polite and helpful
6- being professional.
Overall he was miserable, inattentive unprofessional and rude,I hope he gets questioned about his behaviour at the workplace by his supervisors and he goes trough appropriate training to improve his skills.

Today I purchased a mobile phone holder for my car. Having never bought one before I sought the help of a young female assistant named Lilly. What a fantastic help she was, nothing was too much trouble. Lilly even fitted the item inside my car. This young assistant needs to be recognised as she is a most valuable asset to Halfords.

I had a great experience at Halfords Gallows Corner thanks to Erol. He was incredibly helpful and professional when removing the stabilisers from our child’s bike, making sure everything was done safely and smoothly. He also took the time to advise us on the correct tyre pressure, giving clear and practical guidance that was really appreciated. Erol’s friendly attitude and expert knowledge made the visit quick, easy, and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Kept informed of my ordered part throughout. Notified 2 days earlier than expected delivery/fitting date product had arrived.
Really good mechanic (Bill), did a great job, polite, friendly and an asset to Halfords. Gave me information about the job undertaken and answered questions l had about my car. Really pleased with my experience today. Thanks

My purchase was a simple one, bulbs for my car's front lights. The service went beyond the supply of the goods, the Sales Assistant (Martin) was very helpful in explaining about the different types of lights and making recommendations. That was a good service.

Most unhappy and unfriendly staff working in this store. Terrible experience , just because of that I would never go back to this store. Feels like customers invisible been waiting 15 until someone came, bike collection has been booked . Shop assistant not bothered to do anything, just telling colleagues, that she's tired and want to go home, also swearing.

Poor experience appointment booked for 9am and told I would need to leave the car for upto an hour and a half for a tyre change which takes around 20minutes. Why give appointment times to do the work at your leasure. Guy in the desk blunt and unhelpful that's a customer lost!
