Competitive quote and hard working removal men for our move from Devon to Sussex. Expensive storage and during that time several items damaged and lost. We took out extra insurance and just as well we did. The insurance company were a pain to deal with and at first would only give minimal money back. We had to escalate the issue with the insurance company to get near the replacement value back. Painful experience.

Despite awkward, narrow stairs in our new home, they were able to find innovative ways to navigate delivering our furniture safely and securely. We used Hackworthy for our home move from Devon to East Sussex and simply couldn’t rate them highly enough! From the moment they turned up in the morning the guys were professional and reassured us every step of the way that we would fit everything in the lorry safe and sound. It was a 3 day move because of the distance and safe practice for loading and unloading, and this reflects the care of the company both for their staff and for not wanting to rush the job and sacrifice quality. Everything arrived in perfect condition and we were thrilled with the service. A top notch job well worth the money. Highly recommended.

Hackworthy & Sons stepped in to assist in a particularly difficult house move. After our completion date moved we contacted Hackworthy & Sons to see if they had availability for the revised date. Fortunately, they did and they were more than helpful once it was confirmed.
The crew arrived promptly and had us moved from one property and into another by early afternoon.
They were friendly, approachable and couldn't do enough for us.
Whilst they weren't our first choice for this move, we wish they had been. A family member is also moving in August and we have had no hesitation in recommending in Hackworthy & Sons for their move.
