Before using group 5 logistics i used Kahn's Enterprises to send goods to Gambia to help the poor. and found this a very good company
Suddenly without any warning the name had changed to GROUP 5 LOGISTICS. my first complaint with them was overcharging my box but i got nowhere as i could re-measure the box because it had been collected
My next and biggest complaint is the very same box arrived to my recipient very badly damaged plus some contents were missing. I requested to be compensated but was told no followed by a list of things I should have done and had done. The manager at the shop in Wellingera was contacted and he stated. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE BUT THE BOX WAS BURST AT THE CORNER. This to me is damage.The tv broken and six pairs of shoes missing, on complaining I was told the tv should have been bubble wrapped. IT WAS i was then told my box should have been strong IT WAS. I was then told my box should have been taped IT WAS , i was then told my box should have been cling filmed. IT WAS SHRINK WRAPPED. i was then accused of hiding the tv in the box . i have never been told to declare whats in any box at an time. I requested they send me a copy of where it said I must declare what is in the box NOTHING WAS SENT TO ME, I requested to be compensated for six pairs of shoes missing from the box. they requested i send receipts. I SENT THE RECEIPTS
I then received an email to say they stood by their first decision not to compensate me. I requested a reason why and got no reply.
BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PROMISE TO COMPENSATE DAMAGE DONE WHILST IN THEIR CARE.
I have been sending goods to Gambia to help with the poor for many years now but because of GROUP 5 LOGISTICS i will NOT be sending again I HAVE BEEN TREATED DESPICABLY AND IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TREATMENT FOR SOMEONE WHO ONLY WISHES TO HELP THE POOR AND NEEDY
