Could not recommended this garage. Lengthy discussions before arranging to collect my 1994 Ducato motorhome in January 2020, which were very professional and reassuring. No call to confirm arrival as agreed. Delays of several days due to "failed ramp" and "staff off sick". I had to do all the chasing. Their job was to rebuild the engine and renew cam belt. They sent photos of the engine out. It was my engine. When I collected it, it was running in the yard so I could not cold start which was my biggest problem. I paid cash. On driving there were clouds of smoke. I went straight back and they said it was normal. It was dark by this time so I drove 200 miles home. On inspection the oil was dirty no new filters. No evidence of even the rocker cover being removed. Total scam. Cold start was appalling. I nearly flattened the battery before it caught and smoke in exhaust was twice as bad for twice as long. I reported this and they said it just needs to have the timing set. Apparently this was something they need more money for, over and above the 3,300 I paid them. I had an independent engineer survey the engine and he could not find evidence of the repairs detailed in my receipt. After several phone calls and report to trading standards I gave up and got the timing reset locally which I should have done in the first place. Untidy filthy workshop. Disrespectful staff. Sorry to take so long with this review.

I had a replacement engine fitted in my 2015 LR Discovery 4 SDV6 3.0. Unable to find affordable local expertise here in Bristol I took a gamble and looked further afield, finding these guys in Barking. They arranged collection of my vehicle and within less than 2 weeks, its back on my driveway in full working order! what a service! Great communication from start to finish, regular updates including videos and images of progress which put our minds at ease. Great after care advice was given which we'll follow religiously! Big shout out to the way they looked after my family when they came to collect the car. My wife, son and father-in-law made the journey from Bristol and they were respectfully looked after, shown around the workshops etc made to feel welcome, given explanation of the work carried out, how to look after it going forwards etc. Top Class! Thank You!

My engine in my Range Rover sport went and was quoted over £10,000 by different garages. After my car being off the road for 6 month me and my partner done some research and found global engines and gearboxes. We decided to go ahead with them and we are so glad we did! They have been absolutely fantastic! Delivery was quick, communication was brilliant and the turn around was a week. The guys was very honest, sent us pictures and videos of updates. They went above and beyond. Overall fantastic service. Thank you so much Global engines. Highly recommend.

Great job with the engine, but paid £200 for new battery which was the wrong one. They wouldn’t replace or refund. Be careful.

Recently had my Range rover sport SVR breakdown on me land-rover tried charging me near £20000 decided to go with these guys and result was as promised.
There was a few days delay in completion but overall amazing job done well pleased and saved a packet too.
