Service Overview and Features

Giant Parking’s core offering revolves around a simple yet effective system. Customers book their parking in advance, typically selecting a timeframe that aligns with their flight schedule. Upon arrival at the designated drop-off point, a member of the Giant Parking team will collect the vehicle and safely transport it to their secure parking facility. This eliminates the need for the driver to navigate the congested airport environment, significantly reducing travel time and anxiety. The service operates on a ‘key retention’ basis – following the drop-off, the customer retains possession of their vehicle keys. A crucial aspect of the process is the return collection; upon their return from their trip, passengers simply contact the provided number, and a vehicle will be dispatched to retrieve the car from the parking location.

Great experience with these guys.. my flight was at stupid o’clock going and coming back but no issues on the drop off or pick up.. 20 mins drive from airport but this information is given on booking so be aware you just park car and keep your keys (make sure yo
u don’t lose your keys on holiday) on return call the number and you’ll get picked up. There is a charge (£12) for airport fee but it is a great service. Can’t fault it for the price. A*

Rarely use the review platform to put negative reviews on but this company is by far the most unprofessional I have came across. My dissatisfaction is due to the following reasons.

On travelling to the airport, we arrived and wanted to know where to park the car but the driver said we could not park it and asked for my car keys so he could park the car. He moved the car not far and forgot to lock it before returning my keys. Luckily I noticed the mirrors weren't up so I locked it before they transferred us to the airport. They asked for an extra ÂŁ12 which wasn't stated previously.

The condition of the bus they used to transfer us was poor and did not feel safe. The driver was unhygienic, was unapproachable and disinterested in making us feel comfortable.

On picking us up when we returned from holiday the driver was 1 hour late and then decided to wait around for 2 more flights to come in before driving back to our car. The driver did this without explaining what would be happening. Therefore we had to wait 2 hours to be transferred back to the car then the driver decided to break the speed limit to hastily get us back whilst my children were scared in the back of the van. The fact that all 3 parties within the van had paid separate fees for transport and "airport tax" we should not have had to wait for other flights.

I would never use this company again, please do not book with them as they do not care about their customers at all

General feel is a company poorly run. Driver using his mobile phone while driving taking several calls and texting.
He also drove on the hard shoulder to make up time.

Clearly an issue with poor communication as well. After initial booking I sent a text to amend the timings by just over an hour, this was acknowledged and I received a reply.
When I arrived the ‘system’ had not been updated so I was refused an earlier shuttle to the airport. A refund was also refused so with fingers crossed I travelled on the later shuttle and missed my flight.
I managed to rebook the flight for 12 hours later and called Giant parking to move my booking return date back 24 hours.
I was told this was fine and as a goodwill gesture there would be no additional charges.
When I landed I was told I was late and owed them £20, appears the ‘system’ had not been updated, again.

Feels very much like a couple of local idiots have clubbed together, bought some land and a mini bus and are ‘giving it a go’.
I wish them luck but I won’t be using them again.

Good communication with the company.. guys were very welcoming and helpful.
However I found it a difficult to get to as I coming from Birmingham, and it's far away from the airport.
Once I arrived I was surprised that I had to pay entrance to the airport..
I think that should be included in the price.
On arrival I
had to call after waiting 30 mins and should of been contacted on drivers arrival.
Transport could be a bit cleaner/tidier but all in all a good service. Would give 3.5 stars.

When I pulled up at the car park there didn’t seem to be any signage to suggest it was ‘Giant Parking’ so admittedly, I had a some concerns about whether this was a genuine business as I drove in.
Two gentleman walked up to meet me and confirmed I was in the right place and we talked while they searched for my booking. After a minute or so one of them asked for my car keys which also concerned me a bit because I’d read on the website that you were allowed to keep your keys while the car remained there but he confirmed he would park the car and give the keys right back.
He did exactly as he said he would and the other gentleman asked for a further payment of £12 for their car to enter the drop off/pick up zone. I hadn’t expected this cost as I had assumed it was just included with the service, but I paid it as it was still cheaper than other car parks.
When we returned from our trip we were told to phone their mobile once we had got through passport control and someone would come to collect us.
We waited at the arrivals collection point and it took about 25-30 mins before I got a phone call confirmation he was there (we were both in slightly different parts of the collection point but it didn’t take long to find each other).
Overall I thought they provided a really good service and I would definitely use them again.
I think they could make a couple of improvements by maybe getting some decent signage for the car park and their transport. Also, I would prefer the cost of the drop off to be included in the quote given on the website, but overall, I though I would recommend them as a low cost alternative to the airports own parking.

CHEAP PRICE CHEAPER SERVICE!!!
I have waited over 30 minutes to be picked up after long Journey. When the driver picked me up from T1 than he has picked up some other passengers from T3. Eventually we have set up to whet we park the cars. On the way to car park driver received call from another passenger and by that time we were already on motorway. Some how driver decide go back to airport to pick that passenger up but we waited another 15 minutes for that passenger. Over all the transfer were well over 1 and half hour.

I am not going to mention about the vehicle been used for transfer 😞 not sure why the vehicle still on the road. It’s a very old van and clutch issues on it as you can here the glitching noice every time gear change!

MY ADVICE PAY IS PAY ANOTHER ÂŁ10 - ÂŁ15 more to get better service

First of all the staff are reliable and got us to the airport quick time, were there at 2am as promised to pick us up. Car was safe and in a locked area as promised.
The site is a long way from the airport, although with the wording of the ad, id presumed that it was pretty much onsite as it states theres a reception, shuttle thats 15 mins from the airport. That is only at 2am in the morning. If you go in the day allow at least an hour to get there due to traffic at heavy times. We got to our gate at last call and stressed wasnt the word!
This service was really good but id at least put the info on traffic and timing on the ad. The address isnt given until you have paid and if you cancel theres no refund but a 15 pound charge.
Id use them again its value for money, but just be aware you could well miss your flight if you underestimate the distance from the parking.

We almost missed the flight as they made us wait for another familly arriving so they don’t have to drive up and down twice on return I have rang them when we landed then again when I was outside to be told that they will be with me in 20 min! I was waiting another 1 h driver that can’t relly speak English driving with phone in his hand answering phone calls from other pissed off customers waiting at the airport! ! Been told to pay 20 quid for early arrival 😂 made me laugh I rang them 12.40 and was at the car park at 3 pm absolutely joke both time he was driving rushing and almost crash on to car in front f so please if you already booked with them ware your seat belt ! Oh also they charge me 14 pound for the airport parking fees scammers ! and the familly who arrived later on 12 £

This is a 2 person company they clearly doesn’t know what they are doing
The small bus x2 yes they have only 2 cars 😂 are outdated and aren’t safe in my opinion !
