My furniture was in storage for just over two months. Initially the service was very good as I had to cancel initial house move and they were very accommodating. However, when I received my furniture, my BBQ wheels had been removed and were tossed in a box. When I retrieved them they were both broken. I contacted Forth and they promised to order replacements. To date I still have no replacement wheels and emails not being responded to.

Forth Movers damaged my original piece of art work during a house move last April (2014), and still not compensated me for repair. More than 1 year on! Communication from them has no stopped as I have still not received a reply to my previous email to them which was over 56 days ago now. Will keep you up to date on developments.

Please be aware of this when considering using this company to move your personal belongings. Clearly, I am not alone in this issue (see other reviews!)

Dreadful company to deal with.

Initial quotation was fine, fairly standard Q&A and quote was reasonable. Retired (?) owner who quoted nice gentleman in his 70s.

On moving day turned up late (in fairness we did change the time short notice). Left a cupboard full of stuff that they had to come back for after the exchange time.

Quickly became apparent that they had lost boxes holding personal possessions. Increasingly difficult to get responses from owner / staff who were never in the office.

After a few weeks of chasing, they miraculously found some of our personal belongings in their office and delivered it. But also delivered somebody else's missing belongings with our stuff.

Still stuff missing. Ended up in the owners father (same chap that quoted - I think) shouting and arguing down the phone and hanging up multiple times.

Various insults offered up by owner claiming that he is experienced at these kinds of customer complaints before and knew we didn't have a leg to stand on. Read from that what you will.

My advice, there is lots of competition out there. Save yourself the pain and avoid this company. Not worth the sleepless nights wondering were our belongings are!

The removal team was hard working, efficient thorough and friendly. All my stuff was moved from a 3 floor flat to new house without any issues. I'd advise taking the waiting time waiver, as if getting entry to new house is delayed beyond 1pm there is an supplemental hourly fee to pay.

I would NOT recommend this company. They packed badly, damaged artwork for which I have not yet been compensated for, or returned my damaged artwork. I felt that whole manner in which I had been dealt with was abrasive. It was virtually impossible to get through to the company. there was a complete underestimation of how long it would take to pack and move and because it took an extra day my children had to sleep on a mattress on the floor, we had to borrow bedding from a friend and myself and my Husband had to sleep on sofa cushions. this was the owners definition of "we will make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable". We also had to direct them back to the property which we had moved out of as they expected that we had moved additional items ourselves!
There are plenty of other companies who similarly price their quotes, there is no need to use this company based on price. you should save your selves the high levels of stress and avoid them at all costs.

Made an appointment for them to come and give us a quote for a house move. They didn't turn up or contact me. What a way to treat a potential customer. Is it a reflection of how they treat their actual customers.

Absolute nightmare!! My 1,000 turned into well over 1300 quid, with the boss extorting £200 on actual day of flitting or he’d walk said he ! Many expensive things missing also. Completely horrendous co ! Avoid at all costs as this has cost me an absolute fortune.

They came to pick up my stuff on behalf of another company, and were friendly, and seemed to take good care of the stuff. Will update when I receive my order back -- to ensure nothing was damaged.
