Worst storage place ever! There were 2 break ins! And they did not even tell us. Their cameras in the yard are dummy, they dont work.
We left the place and they did not even return our deposit even though we gave them the notice. Stay away from these scammers!
Also at the time of signing up they stated the fork lift charges are £25 but they charged us £50!

If you’re looking for a mouldy rat infested storage unit then this is the place for you! I have been a customer at this storage facility for a number of months and I have been plagued by rats destroying my belongings and mould all over my ‘insulated’ unit! I brought all of the above to the owners attention prior to leaving and was promised Paul would call me to discuss the damages. I followed this up on Facebook by dropping him a message to chase up my call that never came, to find out to my complete shock and horror the owner had actually BLOCKED me on Facebook! He has since stopped returning my calls (not that he called in the first place) and emails and so has his staff. I am now issuing legal proceedings against this storage facility to claim back the thousands of pounds I am now out of pocket due to the shocking and quite frankly disgusting conditions at their unit! I do NOT recommend this facility. They are rude, unprofessional and in my opinion overpriced. I was threatened that ‘if I left a review I would be sued for slander’ an absolutely disgusting situation all round and I would like to express my disgust and upset at the situation. I have not been offered a refund or even an apology by the owner. Disgusting facility, the only reason I left 1 star is because Google would not allow me to leave zero stars. Avoid at all costs!

Unfortunately I have had a negative experience with excel .
I cancelled my unit returned the key to the office and was assured that deposit would be returned straight away. Still waiting and keep getting emails asking to pay for more weeks storage.
I have made 3 phone calls and still the situation remains the same even being promised that an email would be sent to me that never arrived.

Excel storage is priced around the middle mark for storage in the Huddersfield area. But that you get for the money is perfect. Not as run down as the cheaper storage in the area.

Everything is clean and working as it should. Staff are friendly, has trolleys for moving your boxes and packing supplies available. My old storage was absolutely run down, spiders everywhere in the storage. Not so much as a cobweb near my unit right now.

Overall extremely impressed with excel so far.

Dry clean storage units. Scott is always very helpful and always willing to help. As are the other staff always greet you with a smile.Opening times are good to. My husband has now rented storage units for his business, he is very pleased with the units and service.Would recommend them.

The rooms are clean and dry and the customer service is brill! I had to push back the dates I booked in but scott was understanding and did his best to facilitate. He was also honest and recommended the best size room for what was needed, saying its pointless paying for fresh air! haha Thanks guys

Great place offering newly fitted out storage units. Plenty of choice in size and incredibly cheap if you get the one month free deal. Flexible in payments etc and also sell cheap good boxes and tape. Location is good for security but may be a little tricky for larger vehicles.
