They are not that bad, but they were giving inaccurate info about card validation and caused a £9.80 overcharge to me.

On 2/9 night I tapped out but the gate (which was opened at the time; because it is a zone 5 station they alway have gates open) wasn’t responding, I saw a green light but the machine wasn’t giving any sound thus I asked the staff to confirm if I indeed tapped out, you know, just wanted to play safe. They asked me to tap out again and guaranteed no extra charge. I trusted them and tapped again. In the end I got an extra max fare of £9.8 charged because there’s a odd validation number. In a nutshell, they are not bad, they are friendly and helpful, but just incapable and giving wrong info. Don’t ask them anything else, better search online or call TfL CS straightaway.

so this morning heading to the train station to go to work as you do only to be yelled at that the trains are cancelled because of the bustly winds even though the train timetable was not yet updated the staff really need to be trained on what Good customer service looks like because that is not it would of been Common sense to have to put a sign up as commuters entered the station that says to them the trains are cancelled please use Enfield chase for your alternative route instead of being yelled at and told in a rude way The board has not been updated yet! Please pass this on to the Tfl managers as this is unacceptable way of speaking to customers

Worst staff I have ever encountered. Gentleman who worked there yelled “HELLO” instead of nicely telling us that we’re going to the wrong area. Then the train driver of the Liverpool st train 13:23pm 28/08/21 proceeded to lock the doors not letting 5 of us in while the train was stopped there for another 5 minutes after. Poor service and Enfield Town station has really let TFL down.
