I have been using this post office for a number of years. The owner always was/is super nice and would go an extra mile for every customer. This was until tonight when there was a woman in charge of the shop whom I haven't seen before. Not sure why anyone would employ anyone like her. Despicable behaviour, rudeness, total lack of any social skills. I ended up walking out of the shop without posting my parcel

Good customer service, ease of business, great opening times especially on the weekend, excellent parking facilities and a good selection of drinks and confectionery. However, they do not sell the envelopes, parcel and cardboard boxes. You can find envelopes from the next shop.

Absolutely superb service always and perfect for after business hours posting of my small business parcels. Nothing is ever too much from friendly and caring staff. Also has an extensive selection of wines and spirits all reasonably priced too.
Plenty of parking as well.

On my first visit, I was very happy. The person gave me the service was a male. He was friendly and helpful. However on my 2nd visit there was an arrogant woman, not friendly at all and was extremely rude. Lady should learn how to behave. She was not welcoming, Her facial expression was giving me impression that she doesn’t want me there as customer. Probably will never go back.

First and last time using this post office. The lady behind the counter this afternoon has poor customer service skills.

Not sure if its because i am a woman of colour but firstly there was no hello, she just looked at me and when i asked her to take a picture of my parcel she responded abruptly and said “thats what the tracking is there for” to which i responded “i need it for my protection”

She then pushed the parcel towards the small gap on the counter for me to pull it through instead of handing it to me as i handed it to her (over the glass)

Update:

Hi Ozzie,

Invasion of privacy when it was just you and I in the shop hmmmm. I use Post offices everyday much bigger and busier and have had no issues with me asking to take pictures.

Always helpful. I’ve been coming here for years. Recently, the young lad really helped me out and went above and beyond. Would def recommend.

Tried this Post Office as my local had a queue a mile long. Won't be going back. The lady who served me was only interested in berating me for having used sellotape to wrap my parcel, daring to place my parcel on the scale at the wrong moment and, yes, having the temerity to helpfully hold a parcel up so that she could see it. She was so rude that I left and went to Chaseville Parade instead.

Not sure what the owner is talking about in the reply - I didn't need a wrapping service and only had one parcel.
