Today I sent my parcels at this post office. The service is very bad. He threw my parcel. I will never saw another branch i have been they did like this to me. I never go there again. Not impressed. And the staff who looked like an Indian man threw my package with rudeness, he very rude , upset , unprofessionnal and he don't have service mind. I do not recommend this branch.😡😡😡👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Very rude staff who were not helpful in helping me retrieve my parcel despite me giving 2 reference numbers from Royal Mail. Furthermore, I had to call five times before someone answered the phone, ahead of me coming and they still did not bother to help me when I asked if the parcel was there. I had to waste bus money to travel here to be told it was sent back to the sender, which is an international sender. I now have to wait to speak with Royal Mail. Horrible staff who are rude and not helpful and would not recommend getting parcels sent here as they might be lost and you will not be helped and instead ignored and spoken to in a rude tone! The women decided to also shout as I was leaving despite me saying thanks for the help and leaving the conversation where it was left.

Asked for tracked with signature delivery on my item which had a value of £100 (very standard service which is shown on the Royal Mail website) but they said my only option was special delivery at that branch? Basically felt like they just wanted me to pay for the more expensive service which I didn’t need so they could get more out of me. Is this allowed Post Office? - for your vendors to selectively pick and choose which services they want to sell and which ones they can refuse to sell because they don’t make as much money from it - sounds pretty dodgy to me…..

A complete lack of management. Is it any wonder why private companies like Amazon and MyHermes have crippled the post offices revenue stream and eaten its market share with costs of £9 to send two A4 pieces of paper!

Don’t expect the premium pricing to be justified by outstanding customer service either. These staff need to be sent on a customer service training course with immediate effect. There’s no “good morning sir, how can I help you?” in this post office… None of the envelopes or packaging has pricing on it and if it does it’s the wrong pricing. They have Christmas cards with pricing for tip ex and staples on it meaning you have to queue for a long time just to get a price. If you provide them with feedback you get sarcastic replies like “good morning innit”. There’s a recession coming and there’s no excuses for poor customer service.

It is 15:43, opening time states should be open until 17:30. I went inside and the owner refused to take our mail because ‘we are closed’. We drove here specifically! And he refused to take our mail even though clearly they are open! He even had an assistant with him. Despicable.
