We rented boots and crampons. The day before we asked about the conditions on Ben Nevis and the old man (stuff) said it was mandatory because there is snow. We also asked about Devils Ridge and he said it's even more dangerous than CMD. We did both and realized that the man just wanted to rent us the stuff because he didn't know what he was talking about. He probably never went there. Just wasted money on unnecessary stuff because the seller just wanted to make money. If you don't know what the conditions are at the track... Please don't recommend it!

Best outdoor shop in Fort William, they have a great range of gear for all seasons and priced appropriately. Staff know the products very well and were great at taking time to let me try things on and talk through the pros and cons of choosing different items, this service is why I prefer going to the store than shopping online.

Amazing service. I had just stopped in for a quick browse and perhaps pick up some clif nutrition bars. Ellie at the counter suggested some additional options and together with her manager Simon helped me identify some great local guides for hiking up Ben Nevis as we were booking last minute. This type of customer service is truly above and beyond. Made me want to come back and shop around a bit more.
