Met them personally as I did quite a few jobs for them over the years. This time I got a call with regards to a job from Aberdeen to there office in Consett. I was asked to start driving immediately, I was given a postcode, company name and details of the cargo I'm picking up names, destinations and so on. I was told that the job confirmation will follow. I even had another call few minets after I started driving as one name given was wrong. I did drive immediately I got on site I did give the details to the person who released the cargo and loaded my van, I did secure the cargo and was ready to go to another place for 2nd pickup. To my surprise another driver turned up telling me that the job is his. Durham received better quote, didn't let me know and after talking to them ask me to hand over the pallet to another driver telling me that they never asked me to go anywhere?!? You got some nerves ! If that was a mistake it could have been rectified the driver could be informed that unfortunately there has been someone else sent for the job already get the cancellation and send a job confirmation to the right person, simple and easy. Obviously that wasn't a mistake that was deliberate.
I trusted them I started to drive wasting my diesel my time and start doing the job in the professional manner as I always do.
This is not how you treat drivers!
Very unprofessional and I'm not interested to work for them ever again. You keep loosing good, dedicated drivers who care about the job and your customers cargo, choosing cheapest less experienced drivers in order to make more profit...

I do appreciate the company taking time and effort to respond to the review,however...
1.I was never apologized by member of staff and I was never ever offered compensation for wasted time and effort and it would make absolutely no sense to refuse that and also logically if I would be compensated this inconvenience I would never leave such a feedback here.
2. It does make no sense to suggest system error when the same person physically called two different drivers about the same job same address same details within few minutes ( job was out of hours in non busy period ) I can imagine the same person did say that she apologized and offer compensation that has been rejected .
3. I did physically see the booking I did speak to the driver and I saw the price as I would not give him the cargo unless he could prove that he needed to take it off me. ( Obviously my phone call was first! then a call and the booking confirmation to the other driver who was less experienced but was cheaper... )
4. What training in your family run business are you talking about did you say to somebody don't do it again?
5. Giving confidential information to many drivers at the same time can result in a really big disaster for the company that put the trust in your hands. Some goods are very important you know...
6. I left over 750 reviews, over 5000 contributions on Google over the years I have never ever came across a company who would respond to review with so many lies. Simply unbelievable. That should tell you all you need to know about this company.
If I would be in charge of any Logistics for my cargo I would never ever trust this company and other drivers can read and learn without making a mistake working for them... You can read the other comments as well...

Liars. In office mobbing is taking place. Owners act like blind and stupid. I am sending them to debt colectros for unpaid invoice. And next step will be court. Avoid.
