Dunoon Ferry was a short half hour journey from gourock to dunoon. It is card only and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The ferry's connect with the train and are exactly on time a great and efficient service. Just as you get of the ferry the bus stance is right there 2 min walk away. There a cafe and shop which sells lovely food and dessert. Sit in or takeaway to. While waiting on your bus or food you can cross the road to which I'm sure is a museum which used to be a old castle and the grounds here are lovely and the steps up to the viewpoints to see the views are outstanding. Highly recommended service which is excellent and efficient. You can have a wander along the pier which is lovely and if you look close enough you see hundreds of baby jellyfish in the water along the pier.

A complete joke of a ferry service more off than on. Shame on the Scottish government as they are responsible for the debacle. Plus if anyone says that the service is good they don't live in Dunoon as the ferry service has one of the worst cancel rates about and this proves the vessels are not fit for purpose
