FIVE STARS TO TWO, IN TWO MOVES: Dragonfly is a vertically integrated business. It packs, moves and stores, and does all of these things well, if expensively. At least, that was our experience of the first stage of the contract, which involved moving us out of our house while it was demolished and rebuilt, and into temporary accommodation. So far, so five star. But then came the problems. The date to move our furniture and effects was changed - arbitrarily and unilaterally. We protested. They said we hadn't confirmed. We produced confirmation; they said it was 'flaky' - and if we didn't like the change we could find a new company. Impossible at such notice, of course. That's not business, it's bullying. Worse followed. Small item damage or breakage we could suck up, but not major items like an amputated chair, an antique Small Boy missing some veneer, part of its architrave and a leg, a Yellow Wood table scratched and scuffed and a 19th century mirror shorn of much of its decorative moulding. Their reaction? Your fault, not ours. So the bill is ours, more than £2K of it. Of course, a solicitor would cost more but that's the calculation, isn't it? On the strength of our recommendation following the initial experience, Dragonfly gained some lucrative new business. No more.

Shane, Chris and Will helped with a family move. They were absolutely brilliant. They were kind, reassuring and funny. They changed what would be a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. They also went above and beyond when an extra van was required. They were also very patient when the previous owner who was still gathering their things and even helped with loading up their van. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and would recommend them to anyone that needs a removal company in the future

Shane and his team really pulled it out the bag, saving me hundreds of pounds in potential storage costs with our move from Paulton, Bristol to Weymouth, Dorset. With a sale agreed and a new home yet to be found, we faced months of painful storage cost for our 4 bedroom house, double garage, shed, trampoline and a patio full of outdoor living. As our house completion was on and off more times than a light switch, I wanted to delay the move out to storage for as long as possible. When finally the word came that our house sale could exchange and complete together within the next 7-10 days, Dragonfly removals managed to shoehorn us into their tight schedule, getting us moved out with 5 days to spare. The team managed our difficult access with ease using two vehicles. Really impressed how they managed to delicately fit what would have been 400 square feet of house into a 200 square foot space. Could't recommend enough.

A fantastic removal company, and local which was important to me, I would not hesitate to use again. The whole team were friendly and did a brilliant job, they worked tirelessly to ensure a very swift move. Everything was very well organised. Shane came round initially to do a quote and have a look at everything, he very much put my mind at ease with all the concerns I had, but nothing was a problem for them. Anything that needed taking apart to move, was very quickly dismantled and reassembled at the new address. I would highly recommend using Dragonfly removals. Thank you all for such a great service.

e and beyond to help with my move, and all in pouring rain. Shane even organised a crane to deliver my piano at no extra cost a couple of days later. Absolutely fantastic, and I would recommend Shane and Dragonfly Removals to anyone moving house.
