Very bad service. My parcel went from Burgess Hill to Hinckley rather than Chelmsford for a “DPD operation issue”, basically they messed it up. And yet, after an additional day, the delivery was arranged for the end of the shift. Extremely poor service.

Just went there now and staff can't be bothered .. dropped a parcel off and now no scans parcel missing.. they steal parcels here very poor customer service most staff members clueless!

Many things are not right when it comes to DPD.
Will be sharing a few of my experiences
Two weeks ago I’ve ordered a seal for freezer and parcel got damaged by DPD.

They have never informed me about it. I had to call and ask what’s happening.
Not to mention DPD drivers never deliver to my home address .
I’m situated on high street easy to find, drivers prefer to drive pass by and say they missed me.
When you call customer service and ask why this is happening, everyone is very apologetic but they don’t do anything about it.
They pass you on to Chelmsford depot which they call you, saying that driver will attempt delivery.
Of course nothing happens.
Yesterday 26/03/2024 , exactly the same situation. Driver meant to deliver at commercial premises during opening hours, instead went pass by took pictures of a different company which was closed and uploaded the pictures.
Called customer service explaining that I paid for next day delivery.
Answered given was that I’m not DPD customer, the sender is therefore they won’t do anything about it.

Completely useless,they say that you were not in and will deliver the next day ,but in honesty we’re never there in the first place,drivers running late and just abort.

Just had one of your drivers very rude and aggressive tried to fight on of our staff and I cannot even make a compliant no contact number no email web chat and WhatsApp just automated response.

Notified delivery 17th waited in all day .Nothing . Sent Code Entry for Door to Flats.in case I was out . Email deliver Today between 2-3 pm . In again all day . Nothing .Email “Could not Deliver”Took pic of the Flats Thankyou Abdullah 2 days wasted. Useless Company and unreliable . I took in 2 parcels for a neighbour yday and 1 parcel for a neighbour Todsy all different companies and yet didnt get mine .

Absolutely incompetent the driver doesn’t even go to the door and goes within seconds of coming to the house. Don’t even get a chance to open the door. To top it off their contacting methods are useless.

Got my one hour time slot for the morning, I watched the driver, Jack, pull up outside my house in the van, take a photo of my house and then leave. No attempt to even deliver my parcel, he didn’t even get out the van. After a few phone calls to dpd it was then confirmed to me the driver would deliver the parcel after his route had finished, having me wait indoors all day and missing plans as this parcel needs to be signed for. Still no sign of the parcel and is now being held at the depot as driver did not attempt to deliver this after his route was finished. Not impressed at all.
