Took the day off, paid for next day shipping, stayed next to my door and phone. They then just sent me a notification that they tried to deliver my package, ran outside and there was no delivery man or van to be found. I got a picture of a door that they insist is my door - yet I’ve never seen it. Got a call back from the local depo we established that it is in-fact the wrong door and where my door is. They told me they’ll get the driver to come back and that they’ll get back to me. Waited for a couple of hours, called back customer services and they told me that case is closed and that it was the correct door, and I can’t get it. I need it today - I told them I go pick it up, I pay extra - nothing. I need to wait til tomorrow. No refund or compensation either. Lost Ā£200 on taking the day off, lost Ā£5.99 on next day delivery. Even if it would have been the right door, how come the driver didn’t buzz through the intercom? Absolute piss take! I also attached pictures of the door they said was mine and my actual door (glass). But even if the delivery driver was at the right door - why did he not buzz in or tried to come in? Funny enough I had an amazon delivery today as well and they buzzed in and found me. Liars…

Paid for next day delivery and waited home all day, my 2 packages didn’t leave the depot until 7:30pm, they said it would be delivered by 8:50pm, I waited by my front door when the app said my delivery was next and my driver Grazvydas did not even attempt delivery or drive down my road and there was no way to contact him. To top it off, the person I called at 3pm suggested I pay an extra Ā£4.99 to make my delivery VIP for the next day. The chatbot is also refusing to pass me over to an operator.

Worst experience ever. The delivery drivers have no clue what they’re doing and cannot find a simple address, they don’t even bother trying contact you they just say that they are ere unable to deliver and send a picture of some random location. Absolute time wasters, two afternoons I have spent waiting and they have failed both times. Absolutely useless service.

Absolutely appalling service. Waited in from 7am to 10pm on Thursday tracking said it would be delivered during this time. Missed work and this was an Important phone delivery. Package failed to arrive. Called the following morning. Parcel not scheduled to go out that day (Friday) . Phone needed for weekend away. I said I would drive to the depot to collect. Was told this was not possible that in no circumstances could I pick up from the depot. I would have to reschedule for another day which I explained as pretty pointless as we won’t be here and that’s why I need the package yesterday or today. I had also missed work once already waiting in for a package that failed to arrive why would I want to do this again? No flexibility whatsoever. Very unhappy with the service it’s the first time I have been unpleasant to the operator on the end of the phone. So for that I apologise but the service is truly atrocious.

In a word "dreadful" this company was supposedly delivering a package to my home address in Bournemouth yesterday the 10th July 2025 between the hours of 11:40 am and 12:40 p.m, waited in ALL DAY for the delivery, as was advised that due to the fact the package was a birthday gift which included alcohol proof of age was required, time slot came and went and despite numerous phone calls to DPD( with them being very sorry for the delay) and in the end effectively telling me to get off the line as they couldn't spare the time to deal with my complaint( absolutely appalling).
Then to add insult to injury my friend sent me an image of the "so-called" delivery address!! What a joke looks nothing like my front door at all.
If anyone within the company bothers to view this post the tracking number of said parcel is 159766908999886, and we are still awaiting delivery!!!
If I could give this company a minus star rating I would( without hesitation) they are( without question) "WORSE THEN USELESS", if you find something you wish to purchase on the internet, do your homework, and if it involves DPD making the "so-called" delivery avoid at all costs absolutely useless.
My advice for what it is worth, use either Amazon or eBay( at least you are more likely to receive your purchases)

Received notification my parcel would be late even though we paid for express delivery.Arrived at 10pm and was dropped at my front gate. Thankfully we saw the van and recovered the parcel,inside was the order of service for my Mum's funeral...it rained that night and if we hadn't seen them they would have been ruined.
George you are a lazy thoughtless delivery driver.

Twice now they’ve ā€œtriedā€ to deliver my parcel.

First one (Romeo) was supposed to be here between 12:57 and 13:57 but at 18:24pm I received a message saying they’d missed me and the photo attached was not even of my road nor a house it was of a tree on the sidewalk.

Second time now was a different driver (Gursewak) supposed to be delivered between 14:50 and 15:50 received a message at 16:34pm and a card in the gutter stating how he missed us even though someone was home all day and I have three ring doorbells around my property and he didn’t approach not once, his photo however was of my home but he was at the end of the driveway. So he couldn’t even be bothered to walk up.

Still haven’t received my parcel…

Appalling Service… on several occasions now I have been in and waiting for my scheduled delivery, they just don’t show up, don’t bother, I then get informed they were unable to deliver as no one was in. So shabby, no integrity and extremely poorly managed. I have just seen the drivers report and apparent reason for why ā€˜he was unable to deliver ā€˜road closed’. This is laughable and an absolute falsehood!!!! DPD Local Wimborne you and your drivers should be ashamed of yourselves. All other Couriers have none of these problems, in fact DPD international Deliver to me weekly on a Monday without fail… Their drivers are friendly, charming and competent. I suggest you take a leaf out of their book. Photo attached provided by driver apparently… Obviously can’t even take a picture properly!!!!
