Do not use DPD to collect / deliver 2nd hand items. Should it be damaged, they will not compensate you, as nearly every imaginable item you can send is on their 'prohibited list,' including such vagueries as 'accessories' and 'machines.' I had an item turn up cracked and battered, they will not pay out the £400 worth of damage they did to my property..... if you view the 'prohibited list' it makes you wonder how they can operate as a courier, they must be transporting fresh air up and down the country

driver arrived, he was ok, but DPD have always been a huge problem .

i had received msg from sender them saying he would wait up to 10 mins for me to pack item into their special box, when i told him he said he could not wait even 5 mins. this stinks of poor communication between the business sender and DPD, or DPD again being dishonest, a problem which has arisen several times in past

there for i have to take more time of work to wait for him Again tomorrow

in messages it was implied that the special packing box would be delivered to me, then on another day they would collect it with the item inside it. this obviously was not their intention. the messages were utterly confusing

additionally i only got 2 hour notification of the drivers arrival, not the 1 day told to me

Yet again, DPD has failed to deliver my parcel because of the same lazy driver who never leaves his vehicle. This isn’t the first time—it’s happened repeatedly in the past, and this is now the 10th time. He just marks the delivery as ‘attempted’ without even trying. DPD needs to sort this out and get drivers who actually do their job instead of making excuses.

Driver allegedly ‘attempted delivery’ which was not the case. They claim the package was delivered to a neighbour, but the name they gave does not live at the address. The photo they took to prove delivery is of a random address not even on my street. No neighbours have the parcel and now I’m being told that to proceed I need to file a police report against my neighbours. Unacceptable customer service that will be chased up with legal action.

Absolutely horrific service. Jake the delivery driver “missed me” apparently, when I was definitely home and he didn’t come anywhere near my house. He’s taken a lousy picture of his hand outside his van on some random street. There is no accountability from any one in management about this error either. The worst delivery company and experience I’ve had by far

2 different drivers failed to deliver the parcel on the same day, claimed "no one was in" and took photos of a house down the street. And now have learned that this causes an automatic return to sender. This parcel was my partner's graduation dress sent from her parents in sri lanka who she hasn't seen for 2 years, and now has to attend without it. Incompetent does not even begin to describe this company. I will not purchase any product from any company that uses DPD as it's courier, and i strongly recommend others.
(This is the driver too busy on their phone to come and deliver the parcel literally 2 doors down(and yes she took a photo of that house, not ours as proof that we weren't in.)
