I went there after checking the services they offer online to be treated rudely as apparently they don't have designated staff to attend the desk and they are "asking" people to do all online and just come to drop off. I appreciate that, but that's not what it says online. I went there to just send a parcel and the lady kept making hints and comments of why I should have done it online. This is not my fault, if this is not a service you can offer, then stop offering it and update the website. And for the time being, if you can be anything, be nice!

Good service.
I opted DHL for parcel service from Hyderabad- India to Sheffield-UK.
I received my parcel in 3 working days.
Packing and delivery methods are professional.
Best tracking process they got.

Went to collect a parcel, because I was working when it was ment to be delivered. This was a quick and easy procedure, and I was in and out within 5 mins. Staff where polite and professional.

Was told I was too late to collect a pick up when I arrived 20 minutes before closing. I was then told I couldn’t collect because I hadn’t informed them prior to picking it up and I can’t turn up at this time and expect to collect it, when there is no information of the sort on the slip left in my door frame (not even through my letter box).
I was told that at this time my package would be in a cage of 3000 parcels and there were only two staff on so wouldn’t be able to get it. Then, eventually , she checked with the manager and lo and behold the package was collectible. But not before presenting ID. So I presented my drivers license to then be told that the package is in my wife’s name. I said I know but we live together , have the same address which is on my ID. She said that anybody could have dropped that ID ( which has my face on it) in the street and brought it in with the slip ‘you’d be surprised’
I said ok… but that’s me on the photo and she stood there in silence for a moment. I said my wife is in the car outside do you want me to go and get her? She said no , I’ll let you off but just to make you aware I’m doing you a favour… absolutely dumbfounded, I received my package fully aware of just how lucky I am.

I should have had a parcel delivered on the 3rd of March but someone at DHL forgot to put it on the van. I had the day off work to accept the package as it had to be signed for. I have. I rang up today to arrange another appointment I got told
1 They couldn't deliver it next Friday it had to go back to the sender
2 They couldn't specify a time for delivery on any day I gave
3 They couldn't stick it in a taxi to deliver it
4 The quickest way to get the package was fetch it from the depot myself
They seem to forget they forgot to put the parcel in the van. As a business that has made a basic error they are doing absolutely nothing to rectify their own mistakes other than tell me to fetch the item myself

I bought some lacoste items that were very expensive and as I need them for Christmas I paid for nect day delivery.
More than 3 times they claim that my order has been delivered, but it's a complete lie, I've been home and nobody even knocked on the door. On the third day I made a point of staying outside my house for more than 4 hours to make sure they would come to deliver, and once again no one came and they sent me a message saying that once again they knocked on the door and there was no one at home
And once again no one came, and they sent me a message saying that they tried to deliver and they knocked on the door and there was no one at home
I just want some answers. What can I do

No one was in reception when I arrived to collect my parcel and so I had an awkward and confusing wait, for what felt like an unreasonable amount of time. The team member who served me was unhelpful and seemingly unwilling to correctly serve me. I was told by her that "..I'll try but I'll have to go and check all the cages now to find it and it will take me ages, maybe 20-30 minutes. Are you sure you want to wait?.."
I replied that I had spoken to DHL customer servics not long before entering the building and they had informed me the parcel was there and ready to collect, hence my visit. I also asked her to elaborate on "try", asking her to confirm that if I wait for her given timescale would I definitely leave with my parcel or not.
My parcel was found quickly when she eventually went to look for it.

After paying for next day delivery my item was due on a Thursday, today being Monday I went to dhl express to chase up my parcel. Tracking system said it was at Leeds so I went to Leeds to be told its at Barnsley as they share same tracking locator for some reason. ( 75 mile round trip ) my item was just sat in there warehouse. No delivery attempt had been made.
Total shocking service and why charge next day if you cannot deliver next day " as your busy"

Reception staff who assisted me where very helpful and polite at both depots. ( thankyou ladies)

They helped ease my mood as basically DHL Express are nothing short off diabolical in respect to actually delivering the service you pay for. There is no phone number to contact them regards any issues. The number they list charges you 7p minute plus network rate and once get threw its an automated system not a live call.

In future when I buy online I will check with sellers and if they use DHL express I shall shop elsewhere. Will be entering a formal complaint to receive the fee back that was paid for next day delivery that never happened. Wonder how long would off just sat in there warehouse had I not gone chasing after it?
