I went here as I thought that's where the Post Office would be, they are in nost other WH Smiths so thought it odd that was in Tesco.

Anyway, the ladies who were working were very helpful, and 1 helped me select a new book, which was the one I was actually wanting to read.

Our son left Happy with bi's new book and Pokemon cards.

I'll definitely be back as the staff were so helpful.

Lovely example of a WHSmith with a superb selection of goods and a terrific choice. As with all shops we visited in Stranraer this one too was tidy, nicely arranged and much bigger and nicer than the initial view and assumption from the outside. Some very good offers too

Large range for a small town, has everything you could want from this large chain of newsagents. Toy department had a larger than average Lego section (my partner is an avid AFOL) staff friendly, they have the swipe yourself checkouts too if you want but I find it's always quicker for the assistant to do it lol saves you having to call her anyway for the usual"unexpected item in bagging area" prompt. A shop that does what it says on the tin!
