Extremely poor and stressful experience with DHL eCommerce UK

I had a truly frustrating experience with DHL.

My parcel was scheduled for delivery three days in a row. Each day, I received a message with a specific time window, and each day I stayed at home during the promised hours. On the first two days, the courier arrived before the stated time and left without attempting to contact me — no SMS, no call, no update.

On the third day, I stayed at home the entire day once again. The parcel was not delivered during the scheduled window — it finally arrived several hours late. At that point, I had already wasted enough time and could no longer afford to stay home. I was forced to agree to have the large and expensive parcel left outside my door, completely unattended. It could have easily been stolen.

This experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing. DHL showed no respect for my time, no communication, and no accountability.

I will avoid using DHL again and do not recommend them to anyone who expects basic reliability or professionalism.

The worst delivery I’ve ever seen in my life. They were supposed to collect my boxes Wednesday morning, of course no one came or even bothered to call to notify me. After multiple attempts to speak they came at different address Friday afternoon!

Can't get in touch with an actual person to find out what's happening with my parcel. Website useless it tells me the handover was unsuccessful at the parcel shop but won't let me rearrange or give me details on whether I can collect from York depot. I would love to speak to an actual person to get this sorted

Worst delivery company ever. They’ve been holding my package hostage for over a week now!

The driver stopped at the end of our drive and said he couldn’t access the property. I then have him driving past the house on the Ring Doorbell.

I then chose a DHL Service Point and after waiting multiple days for them to attempt to deliver, they said the Service Point refused to accept the delivery. I rang the Service Point and they said the driver wouldn’t leave the package as it is too expensive.

It has now been 4 days since they attempted this and I can’t seem to speak to anybody. I can’t change the delivery address to its original address and they seem to just have my package sat at the depot!

These really are the basics for a DELIVERY COMPANY!

Driver couldn't be bothered to drive across the small city center to deliver my parcel as it was the last one of the day, on a Thursday so took it back to the depot. Claiming he couldn't gain access to a perfectly clear, empty drive way and road that large articulated lorries easily access daily.
Now I'm told it won't be sent back out until some time next week. Shocking service. Complaint also sent to the company my order was placed with about the poor service from DHL.

terrible delivery and customer service skills my parcel as been put back for 3 days now with 3 different excuses,
1st too large for van, 2nd wrong postcode on system, 3rd they said I'd clicked to collect, why would I I've paid next day deliver so now I've called company who I've purchased goods from and asked for full refund, IF YOUR A COMPANY STAY CLEAR THEY'LL GIVE YOU A BAD NAME!!
