I wish I could give them no stars. I've spent 3 hours on the phone, several trips to my pick up location and a week and a half after my initial 'next day delivery' date I have 1 out of 2 parcels. The telephone advisors when you can finally get in contact are good on the phone, but will not ring you back like they say they will. Further wasting my time. There is also no direct line to the Bristol depot, so you're bounced around everyone. DHL IS ABYSMAL.

Massively incompetent clowns, I rest easy knowing if I ever suffer catastrophic brain injury I could apply here and be in good company.

Messed up my delivery, gave no reason, the one day I specifically set which is my only day off for over a week and last minute "sorry, no delivery for you today" I can only picture the cleaners on this building spending most their time mopping up drool.

They show up before the delivery window with no accountability and leave a card.

I then spend an interminable ten minutes on the phone to someone who tells me my name doesn't match the name on the delivery so I can't complete security. Except that it does.

The supplier rearranges delivery for a Saturday at additional cost however when I track it there has been a delay and they promise to deliver on the next working day. But we're away for two weeks so the supplier now has to deal with them to recall the goods and deliver to a different location for me.

Deliver my parcel, 4 days you've 'attempted delivery', no one has knocked once, customer service is impossible to get a hold of. £500 package floating around somewhere. Avoid at all costs

Absolutely shocking service.
My parcel was due to be delivered on Friday, from the tracking, it never left the depot.
Requested it be redelivered Monday, and it's not even 12pm yet and they've already said, nope not going to deliver it today.
I don't trust they'll ever deliver it so I'm just going to go collect it, which is a massive inconvenience, but I guess it's the only way I'll actually get my delivery. It also makes me chuckle that when you request to pick it up, if you don't collect THAT DAY, they'll return it to sender. It's not like you were in a rush to deliver it to me in the first place, calm down 😂

NON-EXISTENT SERVICE.
Specifically arranged 2 deliveries and 1 collection for Tuesday 11th February as was due to go away Wednesday 11th. Despite texts and emails telling me parcels were in transit, NOTHING! Somehow I managed to speak with a real person on the collection reference, but for anything else, forget it!

DHL HAVE A CLEVER SYSTEM DESIGNED TO AVOID CUSTOMER CONTACT AND DON'T WANT YOU TO SPEAK WITH A REAL PERSON TO RESOLVE AN ISSUE!!!!!

DHL agent told me collection was still due Tuesday evening and a chap turned up at 8pm in his own car to collect a return, but wasn't told he was supposed to deliver a replacement!

On Wednesday morning, more texts and emails saying delivery would be made that day. So decided to delay my departure by 24 hours to accept the deliveries. By lunchtime, the recorded message had changed to 'driver running late, but still expecting to deliver'. OUTCOME = NO DELIVERY!!!!!!!!

This time, totally unable to speak with anyone at DHL under the 'Delivery' reference to find out what was going on.

Thursday 13th February, get a call from one of the senders, who had been trying to help, telling me they had spoken with DHL, who had suggested I collect one of the parcels from their depot. Suggested I call them to find out which depot and see if it would work for me. Called DHL on the only number they seem to want to give out - 024 76 937 770 - which again takes you to their customer-avoiding automated system. No possible option to speak with anyone, so I looked at the DHL website for a complaint number. BINGO - 0344 248 0012 - only it isn't for Complaints. Another system designed to confuse, delay and avoid customer contact. Eventually, managed to speak to someone, who told me she was in DHL Express, a different company to DHL e-commerce, so could not help me as had different systems. She didn't have any number for their complaints department. All she could do was give me a number that she didn't know what nit was for - 0203 342 3797, which on calling turns out to be an alternative number for 02476 937 770!!

I have know had 2 texts this morning telling me that both parcels are due for delivery this afternoon. I was due to leave home for my trip at midday, so again, I am going to have to reschedule too make sure I am here in the event that DHL actually make these deliveries today.

So in conclusion, DHL stands for DUMB HOPELESS LOGISTICS.

AVOID/DONT USE/LET THEM GO OUT OF BUSINESS. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE ON ANY LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DHL - don't have lorries. That's the excuse I was given for failing to attempt delivery 5 days running. I will never order another product from an online retailer that uses your useless company and I will lobby my employer to cease all business with you.
