Leaving our berth in the early hours our propeller dropped off our sail drive ( a Kiwi prop). By mid morning we had confirmation that we could stay in our berth and the boatyard would try to lift us out. This was bank holiday Friday! Local divers found our prop by midday. By 3pm we were lifted and our replacement prop fitted. By 4 pm we were back in our berth drinking a beer ready to leave again tomorrow. All thanks to the amazing staff at Darthaven. Bless you all.

Stunning place to visit easy to park other side then catch foot ferry at only 2 return.

We went sea kayaking out from the marina. The tide was going out so it's a bit muddy getting your boat down and getting in but not bad. There is a car park where you can pay for parking by your card which was really helpful. The marina isn't protected from wind so be careful going in and out. There are also water taps where you can wash your equipment afterwards as well.

Typical marina - they want your money but don’t actually want you. Moored for the 2024 Dartmouth Regatta for the week, paying normal visitors rates and for that we get a few portacabin toilets and showers. For the men just TWO toilets. Four showers total. We are not allowed to use the proper facilities. Typical UK rip off - this would never happen e.g. for sailors in France in a similar situation.

Average car parking experience. Fairly expensive to park and no toilets on site. Easy to park for the marina if you have a boat on site.
Close to the steam train station, able to walk next to the railway line down to the the upper ferry which is cheaper for pedestrians than the lower ferry.
Went to Dartmouth in the ferry . Gets busy in the summer.

We visited Dartmouth and stayed in Darthaven at Kingswear for 3 nights. Prior to our arrival we booked a berth bij email. Call the berthmaster at ch 80 and was guided to the that was reservated for us. Perfect.
We had a pleasant stay. Very friendly and professional staff. Goo and moder facilities.

Definitely the easiest way to see Dartmouth with easy parking! Park at the marina and take the ferry across to Dartmouth. I paid for 5 hours parking for £6 and the ferry was £5 for 1 adult and 1 child.
