I went to Argos to return a fan that I didn’t like a simple and reasonable request. What I didn’t expect was to be treated with such shocking rudeness and lack of basic decency by one of the staff members, Angela.

Her attitude was completely unprofessional, rude, and frankly disgusting. Instead of handling the return with the courtesy any customer deserves, she spoke down to me, rolled her eyes, and acted as though I was a problem just for being there. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in any retail setting, let alone from a well-established brand like Argos.

If Argos values its customers at all, they seriously need to look into the way their staff are being trained or not trained in dealing with people. No one deserves to be disrespected for returning a product.

Angela’s behaviour left a lasting negative impression on me, and I will not be returning to Argos anytime soon. I hope management takes this seriously, because treating customers this way is a fast track to losing them.

We bought a couple of fans that were delivered early morning, we kept one and decided 1 wasnt suitable for our kids room. We decided to return and our intension was to exchange for a different one. When we got to the store, the retail assistant was extremely rude and made us feel very embarrassed straight away, told us we couldnt get a refund as the product had been opened and was not in a re-saleable condition whilst taking out every single bit of the product on the table, we explained it had literally been delivered this morning nothing is wrong with product we’d had it delivered literally that morning its only be a few hours, just changed our minds as it wasnt suitable - she then went to apprehend us to why we didnt read the description on the product before we bought it?! - she told us to put everything back again in a resalable condition so it can be returned, we then moved to the side and started putting everything back again properly, we felt so humiliated as her and another colleague now started telling us off, after we’d put it all in the box whilst she watched us do it, she then went straight away that she wasnt going to do the return, when we asked to see the manager who was not helpful at all, started reading the back of the reciept, she was very stern very dismissive and literally spoke to us for 10seconds told us bye and walked off. - it was a horrible humiliating experience. Staff and managers definitely need some customer service training to be advised on how to speak and communicate with customers, we have every right to change our minds and return products especially if there completely fine without feeling any prejudice. We then went to another Argos Branch, again the lady checked the box and product - took our receipt and gave us back our refund within a 5minutes and she was so lovely friendly and approachable - i suggest major training sessions for this store and it was not the first time that this happened but the first time that i felt the need to write this review as its an experience that i wont be forgetting for while and how horrible it made me feel as a customer.

I had a terrible experience with customer service. The staff were incredibly rude. Initially, I was denied the opportunity to collect my product and was asked to bring my ID, even though I presented my Argos card. The manager sent me away without listening to my concerns and spoke very rudely.

After I returned with my ID, I was finally given my product. Both my husband and I use Argos cards, and when I politely asked whether I would need to bring my ID next time, despite having signed my Argos card, the manager replied with a blunt "NO!" It makes no sense why I was asked for my ID initially if I had my Argos card.

I urge you to focus on staff training, particularly in customer service, and teach your employees how to communicate respectfully with customers. I will not be returning again.

Bought head phones from here they weren’t good so went to return them next day. Staff are so rude it’s a joke the old bearded guy behind the counter got rude and tried telling me that the speaker in the headphone hasn’t popped an if I got a defective unit it’s my draw of the luck but they wouldn’t take them back saying there was nothing wrong. Disgusting behaviour from customer services now I’m stuck with a defective headphone wich I can’t do nothing with Now I lose my money an Argos profits absolutely disgusting behaviour. Retarded customer services. These people would never speak to u outside the way they speak to u in store. Disgusting

Extremely Rude and Prejudice staff. They refuse refunds if you bring a receipt and the product is in the same condition even though they have a 30 day return policy. After the bullying behaviour my family experienced we will never shop at another argos ever again and I'd highly advise everyone to do the same. A business that lies can't be trusted

Never have I felt so discriminated when entering a store. That Asian lady is super unfriendly. Crack a smile! First and last time I visit or order to that particular branch.

Argos Dagenham is well located and staff were equally helpful. No much queues as the cashiers are very efficient in delivering their duties. Good number of computers and catalogue to make shopping experience worthwhile is the main thing I like about Argos. Their business can be said to be IT compliant. It is what is needed in the 21st century. Love it shopping at Argos!

It is a retail park with massive parking spaces, shops with toilets, and wheelchair accessible. Argos, Asda, gym, B&M, farm foods, ALDI, pet shop, and KFC are some of the shops here
