went in for some berry mixed vape, im not used to people saying a nice thing, so come to my surprise a young beautiful lady said i smelled nice over the counter and i was very happy and asked for her name and she replied with Georgia like the country. And i used to worked in retail and could tell she was very stressed so please fix that for my next visit

Popped in for some milk and bread and headed to pay at the self service tills. Quite an understatement to describe as filthy but they are completely disgusting. I have actually never seen dirt like it in a food store, staff should be ashamed, surely they can see the dirt!!! Wish I’d taken a photo.
5 star hygiene rating on the window, not sure how!

2x Punk IPA 1 pint Brewdog beers were soar even the date was until summer 2025.
Chopped mango clearance - rotten.

Is there new management? The store seems to be improving. Small things such as price tags actually being on shelves makes all the difference. Was nice to see.

Poorly staffed. Rude and unattentive. Co-op's expectations of staff to man tills and replenish stock just doesn't give a good customer experience. Often left stood waiting for countless minutes or having to traipse round stores looking for someone to serve or help you. Other than that fundamental problem, continuously found the staff here to be rude and pretty unhelpful on every occasion. If you hate retail that much, choose another career!

The till staff are very rude, constantly gossiping to one another as opposed to making any kind of communication with the customer. I was served by one lady who was so busy talking to two other staff members, she didn’t even look at me, didn’t tell me how much i owed and didn’t bother giving me my change as she was more interested in carrying on her conversation. (It was only 10p so I just left her to it) never been more disrespected.

Convenient with good parking, but queue management is very poor and some staff members are rude. A few times I have got there 10/15 minutes before closing time, to find there’s only one member of staff who has already taken the tills off. I used to work in retail, and I understand that it’s frustrating when someone walks in a minute before closure. But if you are open til 11pm I expect to be able to go in at 10:45 and purchase something.
