What Can I say, extremely professional and efficient company. We had to use their storage facility when moving from our property as our new property wasn't ready, the guys doing the removal were of the highest standard not only in their professional capacity but also in their attention to detail and people skills courteous and polite. When it came time to get our house contents out of storage and brought to our new home this went off seamlessly and without damages and bang on time as arranged. Again the guys doing the move we're a credit to the removal profession and went above and beyond to make a potentially stressful time (as moving is) very pleasant. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to others.

If I could give the owner of this company minus stars I would. Where do I start. Tim quoted us for our move from Chelmsford to the Isle of Wight, this included dismantling furniture and putting it back together the other end, ferry costs and packaging. Tim stated we had to pay the £1000 deposit so he could book the ferry and deliver packaging. Tim delivered the packaging (a day later than promised) and all the boxes were already used but because they were in good condition we didn’t question it although we had to scribble out the previous owners writing….. 2 days before the move I decided to contact Tim and query the ferry time he had booked to which Tim hadn’t even booked a ferry and was then messaging and calling me the next day panicking because there was minimal ferries left. I spent ages trying to assist him and he advised he had booked the 8am ferry and also had a bit of a go at me for not staying at the Isle of Wight the night before the move and being ready to let the removal men start early. I advised Tim from the get go that the move was on the 18th and as he didn’t let me know a ferry time in advance I couldn’t book the same one as him so went ahead and booked one that tallied up with the time of collecting the keys. I messaged Tim on the morning of the move to advise we were waiting for the ferry and would be on the Island at 11am. He replied saying his guys won’t be with me until 13:30. They actually arrived at 14:30 and said that they had to leave in an hour and be quick due to Tim booking the 16:20 ferry back for them…. I asked if they were putting the furniture back together to which they said no Tim never asked them to. Just to clarify we paid Tim £2000 for this move. I phoned Tim and he said it’s all my fault as the boys would of been there earlier if I had just stayed the night before and had the keys earlier… remember Tim you were the one who booked the ferry too late and that’s why you couldn’t get to the house at a decent time. Tim also said that it was never agreed for the furniture to be dismantled even though he stated on the phone that because we took the furniture apart he was under the impression he didn’t have to put it together again… we only took it apart as we had to put our stuff into storage due to the buyer of our property wanting the flat sooner than later. I thought we were being good saving Tim the job of dismantling it and we weren’t even going to question any money being due back to us as long as the furniture was assembled again. Tim I’m sure your reading this and I again would like to personally thank you for leaving myself (who had a C-section 6 weeks ago at the time) in a really stressed upset state and just to clarify I never swore at you down the phone I said I am so ‘effing’ angry please call me back when you have a solution so I didn’t have to be left with loads of furniture to put together. I’d also like to personally thank you for not ever calling me back and sending a rude email in caps lock and ignoring my partners phone calls. I emailed you twice to state that items had been damaged, one being my babies cot and you have ignored me. You also damaged a new 60 inch tv. £35 included on the quote for the insurance Tim and we signed a contract which you have now BROKEN. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AS ONCE TIM HAS YOUR MONEY, HE DOES NOT RESPOND OR CARE IF ITEMS ARE DAMAGED. He is a cowboy and a coward and has caused me nothing but stress the whole move I would never recommend to anyone. Enjoy the £2000 Tim. I look forward to see what response you write under this to WEASLE your way out of the truth. I also have all the dated pictures with the times to prove you damaged the items. Hope to see you in a small claims court soon, which will be on the Isle of Wight.

On the day…Andy, Mark and Trevor were amazing, nothing too much trouble, worked to our timings and helped with absolutely everything. They are a fun and respectful team. Book them, you won’t regret it.

CM Removals were brilliant to deal with in what turned out to be a very difficult move, from Tim in the office to Andy and the team carrying out the move everyone was really accommodating and made a hard day that bit easier. Would definitely recommend to anyone about to move.

CM Removals were very efficient and professional. They turned up nice and early and packaged up everything, room by room, which took away a lot of the stress of moving day. The team who packed up my flat were also very friendly and patient, and obligingly went back to pick up my bikes when I realised I had left them behind! And it's reassuring to know they will come back to pick up the packaging materials once we're done unpacking.

Arranged for someone to come and give me a quote. Had a 3 hour window in which they could turn up and after that time had elapsed called the office and got nowhere. If they can’t turn up for a quote I’d have zero confidence them turning up on time moving day!
