Great that you can see into the kitchen, unlike most others. Busy at weekends so expect to wait. 4* Food Hygiene Rating. Staff are great. New menu in July 25 with more price increases ☹️

Great food! There are no sit in options and if you go there make sure to take cash with you. Don't rely on cash point in nearby shop as it could not work and then one might walk quite a distance to get cash out.

Not great. Typical Western Chinese, egg fried rice was dry and a chore to get down. Honey chilli chicken was sickeningly sweet and the sauce was goopy. Chicken sweetcorn soup was inedible with the extremely salty taste. Other items were ordered from the menu but were eaten by someone who has no sense of taste so can't comment. Raging headache after eating a small amount of the take away so I expect its loaded with msg. The rest has gone in the scrap bin. Disappointing dinner which was supposed to be a rare treat, and a waste of money.

Order spring roll that supposed to contain pork,ham,chicken and bean sprouts but what I got was bean sprouts and not one piece of meat.. when phone up the girl on the phone was so pleasant and fixed the problem right any ...never had a problem with this Chinese ,, and if there is that odd occasion its sort quick ✋✋

This is now our favourite Chinese takeaway in Town. We just happened to check it out when our usual place was closed and we are now only getting our takeaway from China palace. The food is fantastic quality and the portions are massive. The meat and veg in the dishes are always really fresh and great quality and there is always plenty in your meals. The staff are always so lovely and polite on the phone and we haven't had one issue with any orders we've made. Delivery service is always super quick too. I don't have one bad thing to say about this takeaway. It's fantastic and we highly recommend them.

Pleasent staff, great on the phone etc..however meat on top of my special fried rice was like shoe leather, the rest was extremely dry and flavourless, the chips I got with it were not fresh or pleasant either. This is a once in a while treat for me as I don't have a lifestyle to afford regular take-aways so I felt deflated after looking forward. If you just want generous amount of food that's passable to fill you up I would still recommend as maybe it was just not to great for me on this occasion.
