I’ve had such a great experience with Checkers Taxi that I just had to share! Every taxi ride has been a positive one, and I’ve always felt safe and well taken care of. Whilst on Holiday in Hemsby , Great Yarmouth this fortnight Me and my partner have needed a taxi for a short distance from Hemsby , Bell Aire club to Newport , Sundowner site at 10.15pm. The taxi was for 4 people as we were with an elderly couple of friends one of which suffers from terrible Sciatica. We tried 5 local taxi firms ( No names mentioned ) and none would do the short trip , obviously because there wasnt big money in it so we were basically stranded. That was until we rang " Checker Cabs" , booking the taxi was made so easy and the lady on the switchboard was very helpful when she had no driver in the area for another hour so she rang her son " Will ". He arrived on time in a mini bus , he helped our elderly friends into the taxi and took us all safely back to our chalets. "Will" was polite and chatty and also shocked how all the other taxi firms left us stranded. "Will" went on to pick us up a couple more times. We would not hesitate in recommending " Will" and "Checker Cabs " to get you anywere , anytime , safely. Thank you again.

Simon, the driver who has picked me up and back from Great Yarmouth train station is excellent.
You can have a great chat and a laugh with him too.
That’s coming from someone who has anxiety.
Highly recommended, and I can’t say that about everyone.

Stayed at a near by caravan park in our motorhome. Phoned Checker cabs to take us to the Racecourse. Arrived on time and reasonable price. Used them twice more to take us to Great Yarmouth and back. Would highly recommend to use this taxi service. Simon the owner was helpful and accommodating.
