I sent a package with tracking and it cost over 8 quid for first class and the man behind the counter said there were no other options with tracking. The following day, I went to the post office in Bournemouth town center and I sent a package that was half the weight and it was 5.09 second class or 5.99 first class. It turns out that franchises can charge whatever they like. So avoid this post office if you don't want to get ripped off.

I queried the fact that my Parcelforce tracking number wasn’t working. A man called Arran helped enormously and took full responsibility. He chased Parcelforce twice and called me twice with updates. Brilliannt customer service, well done!!
