Employers do not care about this university. I graduated with honors In business. It means nothing. It is a diverse, entertainment trap, attempting to replace quality with a feeling of satisfactory experience. Lecturers have wide skill gaps. While some are very good, equally some are the worst and most disconnected teachers I have ever seen. If you can not find a higher performing and better respected institution. Do not bother . I just saved you an arm and a leg

Very unprofessional and lack of corporation university due to their student support staff and financial support staff.
I have been reapplying twice and twice withdraw me from course, unknown why!

The worst University, ridiculous wait times to respond to emails, no one seems to know anything. Incompetent staff. Staff who don't care about student well being. No financial support, hardship funds that take forever to hear back from. Ofsted need to be informed.!

Love studying here. Close to home. Touch down staff are amazing and so nice. I can have my breakfast, lunch without worrying. I can work for hours here especially at "Laud". I didnt like the new building so much. security is also great for late hours. It does close before 8 pm and its better if you let them know you are still there ❤️❤️❤️

Overall, this university is just ok. I studied counselling, coaching and mentoring. The head of my course Pauline was lovely and if it wasn’t for her I would have dropped out. She tried her best to make our sessions productive and engaging. Another lecturer Tom from 2nd year was great too who was enthusiastic about coaching methods, and went in depth about this and how they can be used in the coaching career sector.

However, I can’t say the same for the other lecturers I had. They were boring, uninspiring and clearly only there for the pay check. They would just recite words from a PowerPoint while we took notes. This type of “work” can easily be done at home meaning that the travel to campus was a waste of time and money.

There were 2 lecturers who were clearly not qualified for their role at all. I will call them lecturer A and B. Lecturer A would go on rants every session (taking up the entirety of the lecture) about men being abused in relationships by women and it being ignored. This had no relevance to the course or module (it was a research module, and how to effectively do research for essays) As someone who has been victim of abuse myself in relationships this made me very uncomfortable and as a result I stopped attempting their classes.

Lecturer B had a background of being a primary school teacher and this was evident in their patronising tone of voice, talking AT us rather than TO us, and offering no engaging teaching whatsoever. I was unfortunate to be given this person as my dissertation supervisor. They made no effort to contact me at all. I was able to get a 4 week extension and attempted to contact them about the extension. It took 3 weeks for them to respond and by this point I ended up completing the dissertation by myself with no support, which had a bad impact on my grade.

There is a lack of organisation in the admin department as it’s impossible to contact anyone (they only provide emails, they rarely respond). I had to apply for additional funding as I had changed course twice before due to covid. It took months to be given the correct information of how to do the application and where to send it to. During the waiting time, I was being harassed with emails every day demanding upfront payments, which I couldn’t pay as i was not working at this time due to mental health (which the university was aware of). It eventually took an entire YEAR for my application to be processed and approved. This is unacceptable and caused me lots of stress and anxiety throughout the course due to the constant fear of being forced to withdraw.

Overall, I would not recommend this university and I would advise to travel somewhere else to get a better education. Make sure you do in depth research before you apply and don’t be misled by false course details like I was !

BE ADVISED; Administration and communication between departments is slow and unorganised.

Campus looks alright and the library is inmense and resourceful.

Make sure you communicate directly with individuals who can support.

I-zone should be humanised.

Possibility to contact or be contacted by phone shall also be debated.

Disgusting University, they have 0 care for students and their mental health. As soon as students ask for help they are bullied by staff and treated like they are unworthy of the university's time. I am utterly disgusted and enraged by the university's behaviour and appalled that such a putrid establishment could be allowed to remain opened despite their blatant bullying of multiple students.
Supposedly a Christian establishment but honestly disgusting hellish behaviour....

hello i am writing the bad review with broken heart because i got my ukstudent visa late .
they did not give me extension . (cccu) cancel my sponsership they have to give me only one day extension for safe flight but they cancel my sponsership
i got my uk visa in 2 nov 2024 and the uni extension was upto 28oct 2024

no profit at all just wastage of time mony and uk visa 😓

they did not give me even one day exyension the reason behind i am getting late is late late issuance of cas letter and embassy cas finalisation
