It's the 17th of December. Massive queues and only one person serving. Never enough people serving anyway.. but this time of year is ridiculous. No wonder that royal mail is on its knees.

What can I say: I am so impressed with the wonderful, kind and caring gent Tash who myself and brother encounter at this branch. We were trying to sort something a bit technical and Tash didn’t know how to do it but also didn’t hesitate to call his area manage, find out, get the advice and looked after us. He explained everything along the way and went above and beyond. We need more

Only one person serving, queue soon built up as it was taking 10 minutes to serve one customer. If your disabled or can't stand for long I would avoid. Unfortunately I had to go here again and have to say the woman with the long blondish hair on the main counter was very unhelpful when I returned a parcel I was told I would have to queue up again to change just 10 euros at the travel section when she could have done it herself but just couldn't be bothered.

Staff are nice and helpful and deserve 5 stars, but this post office is understaffed, small and cramped into the rear of WH Smith's. Very little room for anything and very usually big queues which doesn't help if WH Smith's is busy. If you get a line of more than 5 people waiting then you begin to infringe into WH Smith's territory and customers.

Like most post offices these days it is embedded in another shop and small, there is usually a wait but you will always get a good service, unlike a lot of places that don't have knowledgeable staff this post office (like all others) will give you great advice and you really can't go wrong. Plus it's a traditional British establishment.
