The views that great you on arrival are amazing looking across Stromness harbour the Flow in the distance. Quick trip down the winding paths brings you to the main street, harbour, bus and ferry terminal. Camusbeag is equipped with everything you will need for your selfcatering break which as a Solo traveller traveling light ideal.

Back here Sept 2019 after our last visit in 2003, and it's even better than we remembered! Super location with 10 min of ferry, pub, resto, shop even nearer. But it seems miles away - detached, with amazing elevated view over town and onto the harbour and bay. You can spend a lot of time staring out of the window at views and weather.

Folding bed is very comfy for a couple, facilities are all there for good self-catering, as long as everyone has good mobility to negotiate the stairs.

Ishbel and Colin were very welcoming and kind, and give good advice on places to visit, eat, etc, or leave you alone as you wish. They will do laundry for you if needed.

Super value for solo or couple travelling, especially if you're not wanting to share with others. Quite unique accomm. Very handy for the new Heriot Watt University building too!
