I recently visited Camberwell Green Post Office, and I must say it exceeded my expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient, making the entire process seamless. Despite being a busy location, they managed the queue swiftly without compromising on the quality of service.
The premises were clean, organized, and well-stocked, offering a wide range of services from postal needs to banking, which is very convenient. The self-service machines were also easy to use, with staff on hand to assist if needed.

What impressed me most was their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to help customers. It’s clear they prioritize customer satisfaction. Whether you're posting a parcel, paying a bill, or collecting a delivery, Camberwell Green Post Office is the ideal place to visit.

I’ve just come here to check on the opening hours and was surprised to see such a low rating. Every time I have come to this post office, they have been friendly, helpful and efficient. Almost every time, I hear someone shouting off at the staff, and have observed the staff try to resolve the situation as best they can. Unfortunately a lot of people take their frustrations out on the staff, for issues they’ve created themselves.

The old lady at counter 1 with the black glasses and blue dress is downright rude. If she can’t help, she should talk, not shout. She acts like she owns the place, which is ridiculous. If possible, avoid her when visiting because, unfortunately, she’s not going anywhere. If there were a negative review option, she’d get it.

Truly horrific experience. I have learnt not to expect much from a Post Office. However, this was by and far the worst experience I have ever had. I chose to have a package delivered here as I knew I wouldn't be in when they tried to deliver it to me. I chose to have it delivered to this branch on the 15th of November. I received a chaser on the 20th of November saying if I didn't pick it up, it would be returned in the next 7 days. I went in store to pick it up on the 23rd of November, showed all the screenshots and evidence that it had been delivered to that address and just got 'No. It's not here. 'They' haven't delivered it here, you have the wrong place'. When I kept showing everything which verified it was at that address, the other older clerk started shouting at me across the store - 'It's not here! I don't care what it says! You have to go to the depot! Where is your failed delivery card?!'. I explained, there was no failed delivery card as I had elected for the package to be delivered there. Ultimately, after being shouted at for 5 minutes, I left. Really awful experience and from all the reviews I am not alone. How Royal Mail allow this branch to continue to function is beyond me. Avoid.

Shockingly rude and unhelpful staff. Went to return something from Amazon and was told they can’t do it as original box is on display? Nowhere does it say this in the instructions for Royal Mail on Amazon. So I had a bag with me and asked for tape. There was tons of it behind the desk. The woman just said nope sorry can’t do that. Absolute nonsense. No wonder this post office has such abysmal ratings. Useless staff.

My item has not delivered on 11/10/2024 .A Postman left note without tracking number ,
I made request to be delivered to 25 Denmark Hill, London SE5 8RT on 15 /10/2024 .
When I went to collect from post office ,Indian lady without glasses refused to give my item asking tracking number .
I told her ,there is not tracking number from sender but I have reference number issued by Royal mail. ,She insist me to have tracking number ,then next day ,Postman left another note with same refence number (0212A9460* **) saying that post office refused take item .
I would like to make complaint about the member of staff at that post office .She is an indian lady without glasses behind the counter .She refused to give my item insisting even i told her reference number .I told her that i have a reference number which issued by Royal mail .She was just rude repeating ,no tracking number no help

Very kind, patient and generous staff. I was there with the person that was making and unreasonable fuss and gave 1star review very unfairly. It’s a stressful role for staff and users and I have only had positive experiences here 🙏
