BEWARE of dealing with this company. I introduced a site in Southwark to them which had planning for 80 flats and STILL waiting for my fee which is in the region of £100.000. SHAMEFUL.
BUT corporate greed is rife in todays society.This has caused me a great deal of stress and financial hardship.

I haven't first hand experience with their work, but If they build buildings as they drive their white van(s) you are in trouble. Absolutely appalling behaviour deliberately hogging outside lane (M3 06092021 towards London) just for fun and to annoy other road users.

If they build like they drive, I wouldn't expect anything they build to hold up for more than a week. Aggressive driving, speeding, cutting others off, using turning lanes to go straight just because it's quicker, overtaking stupidly… a Buxton Construction white van is a guarantee of a poor driver, and of being harassed when you flash them or honk them. If that's how they drive, I'll be sure to start a building company myself if they were the last builders in the country.

Buxton were contracted by Brick by Brick Croydon to build a development at Windmill Place, Coulsdon. I purchased my home in October 2020. My house was flooded before I had exchanged contracts on it but I was not made aware. The damage was caused from shoddy workmanship and poor design of the roof. Buxtons were and still are responsible for the extensive flood damage caused to my property which remains unfixed 6 months down the line as they appear to be trying to wriggle out of this costly work. At this point there also remains a significant amount of snagging work.
Do yourselves a favour and find a more professional contractor.
