There are great HGV drivers out there and there are dreadful ones who have a total disregard for the rules of the road and for other road users and the workforce that maintain them. My experience of this company is that their driver fell well into the latter category. If they treat your precious cargo like they treat other road users then avoid this company at all costs. Tailgating, speeding and aggressive behaviour were amongst their misdemeanours.

Didn’t get the guys name but most helpful delivery to our premises in Linlithgow. He should be congratulated as it’s a rarity for delivery guys to be so helpful and friendly. Big well done:). Ps all I know is he was born in Tollcross and lives in Hawkhead, Paisley:). Great experience…..

Always had a very positive experience with Burns Express across multiple collections, mostly booked through shipping agents for freight heading overseas. Drivers have always been very pleasant.

Just avoid at all cost - probably the least professional and human friendly people in the industry.

We bought an exercise bike online which arrived broken by a different company who delivered it front of our flat door, but since its arrived DOA the seller organised this company to collect the old one. This Burns turned up on time, my asthmatic fiance was at home.

The driver was rushing, was rude, explained that they only do doorstep delivery. My fiance asked them to leave the box in the communal area then inside the building (we live in a flat), but the driver refused to do that with a comment:
"...No one is going to do that for you love, maybe should have bought from someone else..." - sexist, rude and stupid comment.
Then my other half bitten her tongue and still replied politely that please talk to my other half on the phone while the driver reply was:
"I don`t have time for that" and the driver just left.

I am submitting an official complaint against this company at companies house and speaking to citizens advise as this company is clearly discriminating on disability.

I am absolutely shocked that companies like this who are employing drivers that allowed to have sexist comments on jobs while refusing any support for disabled people during deliveries...
