Honestly, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a post office. I got there yesterday at 18:45 and waited in the queue for about 5 minutes. There were only two of us waiting, but the staff member refused to help me, saying she had things to do inside.
By 18:55, she pulled the blinds down and started sweeping the floor, completely ignoring me. I asked if she was really not going to assist me, especially since the shop is open until 7pm. She just said, “No, I’m not accepting more customers,” and was honestly quite rude and dismissive.
I work in customer service myself, and that attitude is unacceptable. I’ll definitely be filing a complaint with Royal Mail.

They are meant to open at 10.30 on the Dot. None of the staff came in on time. They open minutes later. And took ages to go to the desk to support the people in the queue. Surely if you open at 10.30 you should be at work minimum 10.15 to open for 10.30 ready to serve. Lastly , why is there one person serving a queue of people in 2025?!

Mastu mashallah, she was the best. She found my parcel quickly yesterday was so stressful for me but today she found it in two seconds. I don’t understand this great service. Overall, terrible 0 stars, I have no sympathy for inadequate service. Also why do allow dogs into the premises very annoying. I look forward to continuing my Post Office business with Wyndham Street.

I went to Brixton Road Post Office on 05/06/2025 16:35 to pay my vehicle tax , but the staff just told me to go to a Kennington post office without explaining why they couldn’t help me. When I asked for a reason, the employee just said “I can’t do it” and refused to explain further, which was frustrating and unhelpful.

Last year, I also had a similar experience trying to get a form for a new logbook. I was told I needed to go to Brixton Post Office because they didn’t have the form. I went to Brixton, got the form, and then returned to the post office after a few days i find the form was already there the. I felt like I was sent on a pointless trip.

The staff should explain clearly why they can’t assist customers instead of giving vague answers. It wastes time and causes confusion. This level of service really needs to improve.
Rude service

Unbelievably rude staff, over and over again. Arrived with record of postage paid and advised by post office team over the phone that support was available to print labels even without the QR code so long as I had the receipt and tracking number. This has also been the case at other post offices. The woman outright refused, told me to take my paid for postage to the flower shop, and turned her face away from me, clicking her tongue at me, for over 10 mins pretending to fiddle with the post bags and letting the queue back up. This sort of behaviour has been constant for years. It can't be sustainable for a community post office to just avoided for years because their staff refuse to deal with anything but the simplest of tasks. If Kennington Post Office and Brixton Post Office on Ferndale Road can both provide a service, this post office should also be able to and without being unbelievably unkind. The team that run this post office and the combined pharmacy are not fit to hold the Millennium or Post Office licenses.

Waited 30 minutes in a queue to drop off one parcel for the assistant to close the blinds and go on her break with a Que of about 5 people waiting. She didn’t even speak to us just closed the blinds and disappeared terrible service
