I wanted to leave a review, in particular for Sammi, he could not have been more helpful today helping us with a number of queries, including making up numerous paint samples. He could not have been more helpful whilst also taking the time to advise us on other products. It was lovely to meet and speak with him today.

Kenny from the garden department in Stirling, gave me some help with a hoselock spray head, and him and his assistant ( did not get his name.) were the most helpful people I have met in retail for a long time.
Thank you very much.

Went with the intentions of buying a glass light shade, so many to choose from, but unexpectedly ended up finding something far more more suitable for our size of living room which also fitted right in with our decor too. We bought a 35cm Trio Light Grey lightshade for £32. There were two sizes of this one and the larger of the two was perfect. It looks great and the amount of light we now have in the living room is really much better than we had with our old shade. A fantastic buy at a really good price.

Great store but limited selection of paint, no goodhome paint sample pots and staff don't know when more will return.

Went in to buy 25mm, 4M screws. They had them in packs of 100 for £3.69. I picked up 4 packs as I needed about 370. I then noticed they had the same screws in the "pick and mix" section. I put in about the same amount of loose screws in their biggest "pick and mix" bag and decided to fill it up (about 1800 screws) as I could probably use the extra for something else.
When I got to the checkout I couldn't believe the price ... £6 for that sized bag.😲
If you're needing a load of screws, and they're in the "pick and mix" section, you've won a watch.

Worse customer service. We have had two visits over the last two days and on both occasions the staff are really aggressive in their tone. One member of staff to another saying let’s make Stirling the best store ever. This couldn’t be further away from the truth if you tried. Does this store deliberately employ staff that are of an aggressive nature?

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Have given this store the benefit of the doubt so many times as there aren’t many hardware stores locally, but every time I’m reminded why I don’t like it.

The staff are all walking around with their faces tripping them. On more than one occasion I have needed help to find something and asked a member of staff who are storming from one end of the store to the other. Not only do they not stop walking, they don’t know the answer and they send you to other stores using the most unenthusiastic tone of voice.

My new favourite thing to watch people try to use is the “self service/dont actually touch the till or scanner” till. Staff bark at you for touching the scanner which is on the customers side of the counter, and also bark at you for trying to scan before they’ve eventually managed to log in to the till.

It’s not hard to have basic customer service, especially in a store where people will need help to locate things.
