Great place to find households bit and bobs plus the gardens selections are well stocked. Members get discount now and then. Great customer service staff named AGA helped us through the tills with our goods.

After this very cold weather snap and minus 7 nights our garden tap pipe developed a leak with water gushing everywhere. We went to b and q to purchase all the bits To replace it. A store person called Brian saw us struggling to find the relevant pieces as the selection was mind boggling. He approached us, listened to us and helped us find what we needed. He was amazing and I'm very very grateful. We went home and my husband was able to do the job successfully. So a big thankyou to Brian, B and Q Carlisle.

Amazing service from MATTHEW! Accidentally ordered the wrong Christmas 🎄 tree . I called into the store expecting a long painful hassle but miraculously MATTHEW answered the phone. He immediately sorted my problem!

I’m American and have been so unhappy with typical UK customer service which I hate to say is awful..but Matthew was incredible!!!

Avoid Goodhome , Kingfisher LVT/LVC flooring . Go with QuickStep or another far superior product and buy somewhere else online other than B&Q. I installed their Goodhome LVT Mambo as per professional instructions leaving sufficient expansion and perfectly suitable underlay . The Quickstep i laid exactly the same way in another room is great . Their Goodhome LVT short end click system is very poor , requires more work to make it click in to place correctly and some of my click joints won't lock in as they should . Of course they considered the guarantee invalid as i hadn't left their RECOMMENDED expansion of 10mm as opposed to my 5mm and my underlay of 2mm thickness was 0.5 mm thicker than their RECOMMENDED thickness , although both are considered perfectly suitable for LVT/LVC . Needless to say , like the worms they are , they wriggled their way out of it . The B&Q management also lied on the Quality Assurance form stating i had leaned them vertically against a wall before installation when i had actually and quite obviously clearly stated they were laid FLAT and adjacent to a wall as they are on display in their own store. Who would lean vinyl against a wall vertically ? Not that i expect them to care but needless to say i will never in my life ever spend a penny in or on B&Q , Goodhome , Kingfisher and all subsidiary firms again and i also returned 3 packs of this rubbish i had planned to use in my hallway .

Passive aggressive lady on tills last night in Carlisle. Insisted that it was self service only until I left my items and walked out. Then, all.of a sudden she could bring herself to do somerhing. No thanks, too late now, I'll go elsewhere.this time and won't ever shop in B and Q again.

Best B&Q I have ever been to. The staff is incredible! Extremely friendly and welcoming as well as knowledgeable. I have visited countless of times in the last few months as I am renovating my entire house and was able to find everything there. On the few occasions where certain items are not carried by B&Q the staff was able to advise alternative shops. I also purchased a kitchen and bathroom there, the planning team was professional and attentive, perfect management of both projects. The kitchen is installed and looks fantastic, bathroom yet to come. The local contractors they use were also fantastic.

Girl at click n collect was awesome, sorted me no problems although my item was a tenner more than it was last year.. 25 percent just like that for a keter cool box, I'm getting sick of this now, like most of us... Is there really any need

Had our kitchen designed with B&Q Carlisle. Customer Services at its best, Maureen and Sandra were so friendly. Our dog was allowed too and they even put him on the final kitchen plan. Nothing was too much trouble for them to amend or change. Any items that you don't use, you can return (which you can't do at Wren). Thw 3D image was great to see how your kitchen looked. Thanks again. We will be back for our bathroom without a doubt.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
