My wife and I used Bovey Cars a number of time during our recent vacation in England. They are excellent. We would call or pre-schedule with Mum and she was there on time, every time. When you are in a foreign country, and you do not know anyone, having a friendly and reliable taxi service has great value.

Booked a month in advance for a wedding, called on the day again to confirm the booking for midnight. I was informed that the taxi might be "a little" late but that we should wait from midnight...when the taxi hadn't shown for 20m I called and was informed it was on it's way. Another 10m passed, I called several times again and was hung-up on.
The taxi eventually came 50m late, the driver saying they had in fact been booked by the firm for 12.30am; despite my call earlier in the day to re-confirm for midnight. Not impressed.

I called on Tuesday to try and book a taxi was told I will check and get straight back to you but never did so went ahead and contacted another taxi who was very good and booked my son in to be collected to get him to an important meeting won't be contacting this taxi again.

Fay and Charlotte are heroes, they get us home in the wee small hours every time without fail. Last time Fay came to get us with amber snow warnings from the MET office. Always friendly and reasonable costs.

Google asked me to rate them, but difficult, as I tried to book a taxi however they were not able to come, disappointed, but the lady was nice on the phone. My advice, book early as you can.
