We moved from Suffolk a few months ago and what a difference. Great village, decent pubs, good restaurants, village stores and a couple of good coffee/cake shops and of course the welcoming people of Bottesford. Plus it’s got a railway station.

Lovely quaint little station in the middle of nowhere...but very picturesque area. Station is just two platforms with what looks like now a closed ticket office. There's no taxi rank. There's a fantastic little garden for you to walk around and sit, at the end of which is a small hut with toilet facilities, really nice not seen it anywhere else. Accessible parking and entrance to platform towards Nottingham, but I couldn't see how you get to the opposite platform if you're a wheelchair user, maybe someone can clarify.

Lovely village with amazing flat roads for cyclists to enjoy. Quintessential little village off the beaten track.

An attractive traditional railway station with staggered platforms. Steam trains pass through occasionally.
