What a gem of a shop. Small but well-sorted with focus on high-quality items with many locally sourced and also organic products. You will find about everything here. The pastries are very tasty, and, you can also buy stamps 😉. Nice atmosphere as it seems to be the meeting point of the village here.

A great little village shop with everything we needed. Friendly staff as well. So great to see small shops thriving in Scottish villages when all too often in England the village shop has disappeared. As tourists we try to support local shops as much as we can and appreciate their existence very much.

Fabulous wee shop and AMAZING service. Lent us their cafetière when the AirBnB didn’t have one! Quite incredible. Super friendly. Lovely collection of cards and incredibly useful household stuff as well as an upmarket collection of deliciousness.

The best village store and post office about. It has everything from groceries, chilled, frozen, hot food, treats, essentials items, cards, postage supplies, take away coffee, local produce, fruit and veg, fresh baking and lots more.

The staff are great too, really look after their customers including the elder folk of the village and surrounding area. The place feels like one of the hearts of the local community. The place truly is a credit to their owners and their staff past and present.

Looked on Google maps and there didn’t look to be any stored in Boat, but went to have a look anyways and was very pleasantly surprised to find the village store, the staff were extremely friendly, and the prices were good, we bought ice creams 1 being vegan, milk, and a usb C cable which I didn’t expect them to have. Definitely 5 stars for friendly service and products sold 😎

Great wee shop with very friendly service from Beth and the rest of the staff. Really well stocked and we always stop here for coffee and cakes on cycling trips. The apple tarts are the best we've ever tasted. Highly recommended.
