I have been using BL IT SOLUTIONS now for over 10 years and they always offer fantastic service. I have had three computers from them and Ben is on hand for any issues I have.

This weekend my machine stopped working completely and Ben came out the very same day and resolved the issues !

I would recommend Ben to anyone who has a computer issue !

Ben was very communicative over several emails on a Sunday, the day after my enquiry, and he came round the very next day to install an SSD in my All-in-One Desktop HP as the HDD had had its day. He kept in touch when there was traffic getting to me and he was patient with all my questions during his time helping me. I arranged for BL IT Solutions Ltd to repair two issues with my laptop, scheduling a home visit for Friday, 4 July 2025 at 11:00 AM. I organized my entire day around this appointment.

However, at 11:20 AM I received a message stating the technician wouldn’t arrive until mid-afternoon—this completely disrupted my plans. To their credit, they called, conducted a remote login session, and resolved the first issue (a problem with my D‑drive). They informed me that resolving the second issue would require an in-person visit. During that call, I asked about the cost of a remote repair, and was told it would be £45 + VAT for a remote login repair.

My original quote was £75 + VAT for the full job for an outcall.

We rescheduled for 2:30 PM on Monday, 7 July 2025. The technician arrived and successfully fixed the remaining issue. However, the invoice they later sent me totalled £162 (including VAT). This confused me—my initial price was £75 + VAT, and the delayed first visit was not my fault. I had to rearrange my Monday once again to accommodate the rescheduled appointment.

It appears I’ve been charged twice for the same service, and I’m dissatisfied because the delay was theirs—not mine. Frankly, I feel taken advantage of.

I had communicated my issue with the Director (Ben) and he dropped the price to £120, but this still was an issue on the business side of things and not my own, therefore I should have only been charged £75 +VAT as this is what was initially quoted.

My point is the customer should not pay for a business problem this is why I am unsatisfied with this service.

Had a terrible experience with BL IT Solutions. The technician they sent, Ben, was unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable. He didn’t fix anything and spent more time staring at me than actually doing his job. His behavior was inappropriate and made me feel uneasy in my own home. I wouldn’t trust this company again
